  • Patent number: 7939020
Abstract: An automatic analyzing apparatus has an analysis section including an immunity analysis unit and a biochemical componential analysis unit. A sample rack which has undergone the immunity componential analysis is horizontally fed by a rack feeding mechanism from a position confronting the inlet of a rack stationing section to a position near the outlet of the rack stationing section, so that the sample rack is directly moved to a return line, while skipping over the rack stationing section, so as to be efficiently returned to the analysis section and subjected to a subsequent biochemical analysis. A sample rack that needs reexamination by an identical analysis unit is also returned in the same efficient way.

  • Publication number: 20090229954
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a specimen transport system that can easily be installed without requiring much time and regardless of various transport distances and also is inexpensive. In the present invention, the distance between apparatuses, which had been difficult to be met by a specimen transport line when a specimen transport system is built, can easily be met by providing a structure in which a conveyor belt is formed in an endless loop and the shape of the loop of the conveyor belt is changed according to the length of a rack transport surface (rack transport surface length), and flexibility for apparatus and system installation and space efficiency can be enhanced, enabling substantial reduction of time and costs in building a specimen transport system.

  • Publication number: 20040096361
Abstract: An automatic analyzer includes a sample introduction section, a conveying section, and a plurality of analysis units. In this automatic analyzer, when one or more analysis units suffer failures, it is possible to set the aforementioned analysis units to a power-off enable mode from the screen of an operation section. The analysis unit that has been set to the power-off enable mode becomes separated from the analyzer system operation and the information network in the analyzer system, whereby an analysis operation of the entire analyzer system is allowed to be continued, with the individual power source for the above-described analysis unit turned off.

  • Patent number: 5670114
Abstract: An analyzer for chemically analyzing biological samples delivers required reagents in a plurality of reagent bottles to reaction containers corresponding to analysis items. A reagent which becomes deteriorated by carbonic acid gas is registered in advance, and it is judged by a control device whether such a reagent bottle is loaded in the reagent containing chamber or not. If such a reagent bottle is loaded in the reagent containing chamber, a purge gas for sweeping-out air containing carbonic acid gas is supplied to the reagent containing chamber. The flow rate of the purge gas is controlled so as to be large during an initial period of analysis preparation stage and is then decreased.
