    Abstract: A battery outer case can provide space saving by reducing the length of protrusion of joint portions between a metal container main body and a metal lid, is free from a thermal influence, and can make it unnecessary to employ additional or extra parts such as a gasket. The battery outer case includes the metal container main body having at least one surface opened with a flat battery pack composed of flat type batteries received therein, and a metal lid for closing an opening formed in the metal container main body. The inside of the container is in communication with the outside thereof so as to have air permeability, and an open end periphery of the metal container main body and a lid end periphery of the metal lid are joined to each other by seaming.

    Abstract: A battery frame of the present invention has; any one of a conductive member and an insulating member which are sandwiched between electrode tabs of flat cells arranged in a stacking direction when a battery is formed, the conductive member electrically connecting the flat cells to each other and the insulating member electrically insulating the flat cells from each other; a holding member which holds any one of the conductive member and the insulating member so that the conductive member or the insulating member can swing in the stacking direction; and an electrode supporting portion in which the holding member is provided and which supports each of the electrode tabs of the flat cells. By this structure, it is possible to prevent deformation of the battery frame during the formation of the battery.

    Abstract: An assembling apparatus assembling a body side of an automotive vehicle includes: a moving body provided in a transfer line; a clamp device mounted to the moving body fixing and positioning a body side outer in an upright position in which the body side outer is fixed in such a manner that a roof rail end of the body side outer is positioned substantially above the side sill end of the body side outer; and a welding robot disposed in a side of the transfer line. The welding robot assembles the body side by welding the body side outer positioned by the clamp device.
