  • Patent number: 7903890
Abstract: A target-pixel-setting section (31) sets a target pixel in a target image to be predicted. A motion-direction-detecting section (32) detects a motion direction corresponding to the target pixel. A pixel-value-extracting section (36) extracts from peripheral images corresponding to the target image, in order to extract a main term that mainly contains component of the target pixel in a moving object that encounters a motion blur in the peripheral images, at least pixel values of pixels in the peripheral images whose space position roughly agree with space position of the target pixel. A processing-coefficient-setting section (37a) sets a specific motion-blur-removing-processing coefficient.

  • Patent number: 7899208
Abstract: The present invention relates to image processing apparatus and method, a recording medium, and a program for providing reliable tracking of a tracking point. When a right eye 502 of a human face 504 serving as a tracking point is tracked in a frame n?1 and when a tracking point 501 appears as in a frame n, the tracking point 501 continues to be tracked. When, as in a frame n+1, the right eye 502 serving as the tracking point 501 disappears due to the rotation of the face 504 of an object to be tracked, the tracking point is transferred to a left eye 503, which is a different point of the face 504 serving as the object including the right eye 502. The present invention is applicable to a security camera system.

  • Patent number: 7869085
Abstract: A luminance signal Ya and a color-difference signal Ua/Va constituting an input image signal is transferred to a frame memory (first memory) in the unit of line synchronously with its horizontal synchronous signal and written therein. A memory TG211 reads out a read-out request RRQ. The cycle of this request RRQ is a time computed based on a single vertical effective period of an output image signal Sc and the number of lines objective for rate conversion of an input image signal Sa. The luminance signal Ya and color-difference signal Ua/Va are transferred in the unit of line from the frame memory to rate conversion units (second memory) through buffers. There occurs no deflection in this transfer cycle and in each transfer cycle, the stable data transmission band can be secured.

  • Patent number: 7859601
Abstract: A signal processing system with multiple electronic apparatus. A controller checks and determines whether or not the electronic apparatus are electrically connected and are compliant for performing a cooperative signal processing. For example, when a TV signal processor is not connected to another apparatus, a signal processing circuit performs normal signal processing. When the TV signal processor is connected to another compliant apparatus, the TV signal processor cooperates with the compliant electronic apparatus as if they were a single apparatus and performs optimal processing of an input signal. In an ID table stored in the controller, processing information concerning processing tasks to be shared with the compliant electronic apparatus is associated with the function ID of the compliant electronic apparatus.
