  • Publication number: 20030155342
Abstract: A car cigarette lighter includes a lighter main body, a cylindrical socket body, and a cylindrical case. The lighter main body is selectively inserted into the socket body. An ash disposal hole is formed in the socket body for discharging ash from inside the socket body to the outside of the socket body. The case covers the socket body. A discharge hole is formed in the case for discharging liquid from inside the case to the outside of the case. This prevents ash from being discharged outside the cigarette lighter and lets liquid that has entered inside the cigarette lighter, to be discharged outside.

  • Publication number: 20010036001
Abstract: To enable calk bonding without causing large strain at a reflecting face of a polygon mirror, a polygon mirror 3 and a projected portion 6 are bonded by providing plastically deformed portions 71 along a fitting face end edge 61Aa of a fitting face 61A of a large diameter portion 61 of a projected portion 6 and pressing substantial center in an axial line direction of an inner peripheral face 31A of an attaching hole 31 of a polygon mirror 3 toward an outer side in diameter direction of the polygon mirror 3 by the plastically deformed portions 71. Calking force may be small, strain caused at a reflecting face 32 by calking is small and accordingly, it is not necessary to select a calking position at a specific location to reduce the strain caused at the reflecting face 32.

  • Patent number: 5744765
Abstract: A selecting switch operating section provided to support movable contact points includes circular elastic support walls disposed along an arrangement circle of selecting stationary contact points, and a pushing portion. When the selecting switch operating section is pushed by an operating portion tilted integrally with the operating lever, at least one of movable contact points comes into contact with at least one of the selecting stationary contact points. Thus, it is not necessary to provide accommodation space for other members between the adjacent selecting stationary contact points. Also, it is possible to reduce the spacing interval between adjacent selecting stationary contact points in the arrangement circle, so that the diameter of the arrangement circle can be reduced and the entire lever switch can be reduced in size.

  • Patent number: 5691517
Abstract: A recess portion 14a is formed in the underside of the flange 14 of a tilting holder 13 at a position corresponding to, for example, an "upper right" select switch 4. As a result, the operating pin 10 of the "upper right" select switch 4 has a fixed gap with the flange 14. Consequently, the operating pin 10 of the "upper right" select switch is pressed when an operating lever 15 is tilted. However, the operating range B of, for example, the "upper right" select switch 4 is set narrower than the operating range A of, for example, the "upper" select switch 4 since the pressing of the operating pin 10 of, for example, the "upper right" select switch 4 is delayed by the gap resulting from the recess portion 14a.

A method for producing a magnetic Ni--Fe alloy comprises the steps of: a first heating step of heating an alloy ingot to 1200.degree. to 1300.degree. C. for 10 to 30 hrs; slabbing the heated ingot at a finishing temperature of 950.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5619021
Abstract: A pressing operation while an operation lever is tilted is inhibited by causing an enlarged portion of the operation lever to butt against a stopper. A tilting operation while an operation lever is pressed is inhibited by causing the enlarged portion to butt against the stopper. Therefore, the two operations can not be concurrently performed so that a set switch and a select switch are inhibited from being simultaneously turned on. Furthermore, the operation lever is supported in a tiltable manner by forming support shafts and rotation shafts whose axes perpendicularly intersect each other. Even when foreign substances are trapped in rotation portions of the support shafts and the rotation shafts, therefore, there is little fear that the foreign substances will remain trapped between the mating or contacting portions, thereby ensuring that the operation lever can be tilted smoothly and returned to the neutral position.

  • Patent number: 5568014
Abstract: According to this invention, a traveling-wave tube amplifier includes a traveling-wave tube having a multistage depressed collector and a power supply for applying operation voltages to the traveling-wave tube. A body voltage (Vb) for a cathode of the traveling-wave tube is set to be lower than a small-signal synchronous voltage (Vbs) at which a small-signal gain of the traveling-wave tube is maximized. As a result, a tube efficiency (.eta.t) of the traveling-wave tube can be increased and an efficiency of the traveling-wave tube amplifier can be increased as compared with a conventional device.

  • Patent number: 5563493
Abstract: A system comprises: a portable computer main body having therein a power source circuit section having a battery pack; and a plurality of auxiliary battery units which are mechanically connected and fixed to a casing of the computer main body and are electrically connected in series to a power source input terminal. A charge/discharge control section is provided for each of the auxiliary battery units. The charge/discharge control section sequentially charges from the auxiliary battery unit locating on the computer main body side when charging. On the contrary, the charge/discharge control section sequentially discharges from the auxiliary battery unit on the opposite side which is farthest from the computer main body when discharging. There is also a system construction having a single auxiliary battery unit.
