  • Patent number: 9045085
Abstract: An object detection circuit detects an object moving in a periphery of a vehicle by a frame correlation method that uses a plurality of shot images captured at successive times. A state judgment part disables a detection function of the object detection circuit when a steering angle of an own vehicle is not in a prescribed steering angle range. Then, a condition changer changes the prescribed steering angle range corresponding to a condition of the steering angle in accordance with a velocity of the own vehicle. Therefore, the condition changer can relax the condition for enabling the detection function in accordance with the velocity of the own vehicle within a range where detection accuracy is ensured.

  • Publication number: 20140363696
Abstract: A high-strength hot rolled steel sheets with excellent stretch flangeability has small variations in mechanical properties in individual coils. Variations in strength from place to place in a coil are decreased by minimally reducing the Si and Mn contents to suppress the occurrence of problems such as segregation. Further, the microstructure of the steel sheets is configured such that a ferrite phase represents an area ratio of not less than 95%, the ferrite crystal grains have an average grain size of not less than 1 ?m, and the ferrite crystal grains contain TiC with an average particle size of not more than 7 nm dispersed in the crystal grains.

  • Publication number: 20140211007
Abstract: An object detection circuit detects an object moving in a periphery of a vehicle by use of a shot image. A state judgment part changes a parameter relevant to a detection function so as to change whether the detection function of the object detection circuit is to be enabled or disabled while the object detection circuit is kept activated. Thus, even when the detection function of the object detection circuit is disabled, the object detection circuit is kept activated. Therefore, since there is no need to restart the object detection circuit in order to enable the detection function of the object detection circuit, a detection result by the object detection circuit is promptly obtained.

  • Publication number: 20120140072
Abstract: A parameter memory of an object detection apparatus retains a plurality of parameters used for a detection process for each of a plurality of detection conditions. A parameter selector selects a parameter from amongst the parameters retained in the parameter memory, according to an existing detection condition. Then an object detector performs the detection process of detecting an object approaching a vehicle, based on a captured image captured by a camera out of a plurality of cameras disposed at different locations of the vehicle, by using the parameter selected by the parameter selector.
