  • Publication number: 20070207510
Abstract: Compositions comprising a purified, isolated antibody, humanized antibodies and precipitates directed against ROR-1, wherein the antibody binds ROR-1 with moderate to high affinity. The compositions may be used for detecting and isolating an amount of ROR-1 in a subject sample, and to evaluate the appearance, status, course, or treatment of a ROR-1 cancer in a subject. The ROR-1 antibodies are especially useful in identifying lymphomas and ademocarcinomas. Vaccines and related methods for protecting a subject against diseases that involve expression of ROR-1 are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20070205474
Abstract: A pressure sensor includes a gold-silicon eutectic crystal layer interposed between the contact layer and the silicon substrate. Because the contact layer and the silicon substrate are electrically connected to each other by using a gold-silicon eutectic reaction at the time of bonding the silicon substrate and the glass substrate, a contact resistance between the contact layer and the silicon substrate can be stabilized, and a Q value of the sensor can be stabilized. In addition, since the contact layer and the silicon substrate are bonded to each other by the gold-silicon eutectic reaction, the bonding strength is sufficient.

  • Patent number: 7230197
Abstract: A movable contact is made of a resilient and electrically conductive thin metal plate so that a depressing operation onto the top thereof allows turning over of the central section thereof. The movable contact is shaped like a dome bowing upward and open downward, and includes at least three projections radially placed at the center where the turn-over occurs. A top view of the projection shows a long and narrow shape extending in the radial direction. The downward protruding amount of the respective projections increases along the radial direction from the center to the outer side, and the respective projections each have a flat face having a given width along the circumferential direction. When the movable contact is in operation, the movable contact touches the object at an outer section of the flat face and along the circumferential direction.

  • Publication number: 20040257484
Abstract: A tablet includes a top substrate and a bottom substrate. Minute irregularities are provided on a bottom surface of the bottom substrate. Projections or depressions constituting the minute irregularities are disposed in a staggered arrangement parallel to the direction along which light travels through the light-guide plate or along the vertical direction of a display region in the bottom substrate when viewed by a viewer. Thus, the pitch of the projections or depressions next to each other in the lateral direction is minimized when viewed by the viewer. Hence, even if −1-st order reflected light occurs in the oblique direction with respect to the vertical direction of the display, the −1-st order reflection of blue light with a shorter wavelength in the visible light band can be suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20040105646
Abstract: An anti-reflective film has an anti-reflective structure having many micro holes extending from a reference surface (first surface) in the thickness direction of the film. Each of the holes has an opening exposed at the reference surface, and a bottom facing the second surface on the attachment side. Light incident on the anti-reflective film is mostly introduced into the holes through the openings and diffused by the bottoms, thereby avoiding reflection at a predetermined angle. The ratio of a connecting surface which reflects light is suppressed to increase the ratio of the openings, thereby maximizing the anti-reflective ability of the anti-reflective structure.
