Abstract: Benzopiperidine derivatives represented by formula (I), salts thereof or hydrates thereof, processes for producing the same and drugs comprising the same: wherein the variables are as described in the specification. These compounds are useful as drugs efficacious in the prevention and treatment of these various inflammatory diseases and immunologic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, asthma, and rejection reaction accompanying organ transplantation.

Abstract: A data transfer system for data transfer between a plurality of information processors connected to a communication line comprises at least one specified sending information processor and one specified receiving information processor. The sending information processor determines the block size in which original data to be sent to the receiving information processor is to be divided and the transfer time interval at which data blocks are to be transferred, divides the original data to be sent into data blocks of the determined block size, and sends the data blocks to the receiving information processor at the determined transfer time interval. The receiving information processor receives and reconstructs the data blocks sent thereto to obtain the original data.

Abstract: Compressed image data of a desired picture is read out from a memory having compressed image data of a sequential format stored therein and then subjected to an examination with respect to a plurality of frequency components of the read-out compressed image data. Part of the plurality of frequency components is deleted to obtain compressed image data of a quality lower than an original quality of the compressed image data. The obtained compressed image data of the lower quality is decoded and displayed on a display. The plurality of frequency components are deleted in a stepwise manner according to a traffic state of a transmission line through which the compressed image data is to be transmitted. For maintaining a picture frame rate to be constant, the plurality of frequency components may be deleted in a stepwise manner. For obtaining a desired decoding rate, the plurality of frequency components may be deleted in a stepwise manner.

When the mail reception has been detected, a mail attribute discrimination unit decides whether or not the received mail is to be transferred from a server to that particular client. When the mail transfer is required, a mail transfer unit transfers the mail from the server to the particular client. Subsequently, a mail reception display unit disposed at the client on the reception side presents a display to the effect that the mail has been received. Further, when the user has made a reply of confirmation to the display of the mail reception, a mail replay unit replays the received mail.

A plurality of destination pattern tables indicating data destinations are provided for point-to-multipoint communication. For the point-to-multipoint communication, CPU unit designates a particular destination pattern table for each interface unit, and data transmission is requested to each control module in accordance with the destination pattern table.
