  • Patent number: 6988579
Abstract: A vehicular power unit mount structure having a first mounting member for attachment to a power unit and a second mounting member elastically connected to the first mounting member for attachment to a vehicle body. The mount structure includes an elastic waterproofing cover having an axial displacement stopper and a radial displacement stopper. The axial displacement stopper is engageable with an end of a tubular portion of the second mounting member to elastically absorb impact shock and eventually stop movement of a shaft portion of the first mounting member when the shaft portion is displaced in an axial direction toward the second mounting member. The radial displacement stopper is engageable with an inner cylindrical surface of the tubular portion to elastically absorb impact shock and eventually stop movement of the shaft portion when the shaft portion is displaced in a radial direction relative to the second mounting member.

  • Patent number: 6962229
Abstract: An engine mount mounts a motive power source to a vehicle body. The engine mount includes an inner cylindrical member attached to the motive power source, and a resinous bracket attached to the vehicle body. The inner cylindrical member is elastically connected to the bracket. The bracket includes a cold shut portion and a weak portion provided at the cold shut portion. The cold shut portion is formed when the bracket is molded from molten resin. • Patent number: 6116587
Abstract: A clearance which is not filled with a vibration-proof member is provided between an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. A stopper member which is made of an elastic member is disposed in this clearance. When the amount of relative displacement, in the diametrical direction, of the inner and outer cylinders has exceeded a predetermined value, the stopper member is elastically deformed. A clearance in the axial direction is secured between the stopper member and that portion of the vibration-proof member which connects the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. In this manner, a function of switching the spring constant can also be obtained in a solid type of mount without a perforation in the vibration-proof member which is made of an elastic member to connect the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder.
