  • Publication number: 20140229048
Abstract: A control system and control method for a hybrid vehicle, which is capable of suppressing fuel consumption, thereby making it possible to improve fuel economy, when the hybrid vehicle is caused to travel using motive power of at least one of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine is provided. The control system for the hybrid vehicle V, for controlling operations of the engine and the electric motor includes an ECU. During execution of an EV travel mode, the ECU calculates an engine fuel consumption amount FC_eng and an EV fuel consumption amount FC_ev required when an engine travel mode and an EV travel mode are executed, respectively, according to required torque TRQ and vehicle speed VP (step 41). The ECU selects and executes, when the engine fuel consumption amount FC_eng is smaller than the EV fuel consumption amount FC_ev.

  • Patent number: 8722512
Abstract: The invention enhances the accuracy of an end point detection when an insulation film formed on a semiconductor substrate is dry-etched. Gate layers made of polysilicon are formed, and an end point detection dummy layer made of polysilicon is formed on a LOCOS. After the gate layers and the dummy layer are formed, a TEOS film is formed on a silicon substrate so as to cover the gate layers and the dummy layer. The TEOS film, a thin gate oxide film and a thick gate oxide film are then dry-etched to form sidewalls on the sidewalls of the gate layers and also expose the front surface of the P well of the silicon substrate in a region surrounded by the LOCOS. The end point detection dummy layer helps the end point detection by being exposed during this dry-etching to enhance the accuracy of the end point detection.

  • Patent number: 8684718
Abstract: First, a horizontal nozzle is inserted between an upper mold section and a lower mold section in a horizontally extending state. Then, liquid resin is horizontally discharged from a discharge port of the horizontal nozzle. Thus, the liquid resin is supplied into a cavity. Thereafter the upper mold section and the lower mold section are closed. Consequently, an electronic component mounted on a substrate is dipped in the liquid resin stored in the cavity. Therefore, the electronic component is resin-sealed on the substrate by compression molding.

  • Patent number: 8630147
Abstract: A position determining method and a work result management device. A position where work is done inside a space surrounded by surfaces is determined, wherein the position where work is done inside the space is a sidewall, wave receivers that receive an acoustic wave signal are placed at three or more points, which are on the same plane substantially parallel to the sidewall but not collinear with one another and whose position coordinates are known. The signal is transmitted from a wave transmitter that transmits an acoustic wave and is placed at the position on the sidewall where work is done, and the respective arrival times of the signal at the three or more wave receivers that are not collinear with one another are measured to determine the position coordinates of the wave transmitter using the arrival times and the position coordinates of the three or more wave receivers.
