Abstract: An implantable medical device may include each of a conductive canister, a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA), and a header. A feedthrough and ferrule couple the interior of the canister, where the PCBA is, to one or more elements contained in the header such as an antenna and/or a port for coupling to a lead. The ferrule may be directly attached to the conductive canister and the electronic circuit board. The electronic circuit board carries an RF transmitter for telemetry purposes, and has an RF ground plane layer therein. The ferrule is capacitively coupled to the RF ground plane the PCBA, and has a size and/or shape relative to the RF ground plane that provides sufficient capacitance to offer an improved RF ground plane path to the conductive canister at a desired telemetry frequency.

Abstract: An enterprise content management system such as an electronic contract system manages a large number of secure documents for many organizations. The search of these private documents for different organizational users with role-based access control is a challenging task. A content-based extensible mark-up language (XML)-annotated secure-index search mechanism is provided that provides an effective search and retrieval of private documents with document-level security. The search mechanism includes a document analysis framework for text analysis and annotation, a search indexer to build and incorporate document access control information directly into a search index, an XML-based search engine, and a compound query generation technique to join user role and organization information into search query.

Abstract: Under the present invention, a customized contract is created based on the needs of the parties and is then stored within a secure computer infrastructure. Security within the computer infrastructure is typically provided through encryption such as 128 bit encryption. Moreover, all actions taken with respect to the contract (e.g., approval, execution, etc.) occur within the infrastructure and are recorded so that a record can be provided. Any party taking action will first be authenticated before access to the infrastructure is granted. In order for the contract to be electronically executed, both the originating contract partner and the receiving contract partner must first deliberately approve the contract.
