  • Patent number: 7085737
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer implemented instructions for generating a customized catalog for an entity or organization. Items from a base catalog are presented to a user located at a remote data processing system. One or more items are selected by a user through a process of “meta-shopping”. The selected items are placed in a set, also referred to as a “meta-shopping cart”, used to generate the customized catalog. Terms for purchasing items in the customized catalog are associated with the customized catalog. Further, a protocol for purchasing items from the customized catalog may be established, and the customized catalog is then placed on a Web site.

  • Publication number: 20040044566
Abstract: A method, system and computer program for providing content from a merchant site to a target user over a computer network. The merchant site provides a landing page to the target user in response to a request for data. The landing page includes a redirect module configured to redirect the target user to a destination page. The landing page also includes a cookie module configured to store a computer readable client cookie in memory identifying the marketing channel referring the target user to the merchant site.

  • Patent number: 5633820
Abstract: A parallel self-resetting parallel binary adder provides high speed addition and subtraction. The adder combines the advantages of a fully custom design methodology with the higher performance potential of self-resetting complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) circuits. The adder logic architecture is carry look-ahead with two bit groups and requires six rows of merge logic to calculate the carry out of the Most Significant Bit (MSB). Loading on the critical path of the adder is reduced by moving as many merge blocks as possible to later rows. This allows the fan-out per stage in the critical path to be reduced from around three to two or less. The adder utilizes a bubble pipelined circuit architecture. For the adder, a bubble pipe segment consists of a row of self-resetting circuit blocks.

  • Patent number: 5549935
Abstract: The adhesion between a polymeric fluorocarbon film and a substrate is improved by providing a thin layer of silicon or a silicide intermediate between the substrate and the polymeric fluorocarbon film, such that a region containing a high density of Si-C bonds is formed.

  • Patent number: 5302420
Abstract: Polymeric fluorocarbon layer is prepared by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition in a chamber, the walls of which are coated with a polymeric fluorocarbon film by introducing a gaseous polymerizable fluorocarbon into the chamber and applying radio-frequency at a power level of about 100 to about 1000 watts, employing a pressure of about 10 to 180 mTorr and a self-bias voltage of about -50 to about -700 volts. The polymeric fluorocarbon layer is about 0.05 to about 5 .mu.m thick, has a maximum dielectric constant of about 2.5, has a C/F ratio of about 1:1 to about 1:3, is thermally stable at temperatures of at least about 350.degree. C., and is substantially free from metallic contamination and oxygen.
