Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to data storage devices, and more specifically, to a magnetic media drive employing a magnetic recording head. The head includes a trailing shield, a main pole, a MAMR stack disposed between the trailing shield and the main pole, side shields surrounding at least a portion of the main pole, and a structure disposed between the side shields and the main pole at a media facing surface (WS). The structure is fabricated from a material that is thermally conductive and electrically insulating/dissipative. The material has a thermal conductivity of at least 50 W/(m*K) and an electrical resistivity of at least 105 ?*m. The structure helps dissipate joule heating generated from either the main pole or the MAMR stack into surrounding area without electrical shunting, leading to reduced heating or break-down induced failures.

Abstract: The invention discloses an adaptor or coupling arrangement for a device to bus contact connection. According to the invention, the coupling arrangement may be integrated in the device or configured to mate externally to the device. The coupling arrangement also comprises an electronic circuit that is configured to perform one or more anti-inversion of current functions. The method may further include analyzing one or more of the plurality of parameters associated with the data packet using the data lists. The method may continue with determining, based on the analysis, that the one or more of the plurality of parameters are outside a predetermined tolerance zone. Based on the determination that the one or more of the plurality of parameters are outside the predetermined tolerance zone, a mitigation action associated with the host may be selectively initiated.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, a service, application, or other component can operate in association with a virtual machine at a computer server or device. The system can determine memory heap usage based on collected metrics, via one or more push and/or pull communications of data, and automatically adjust or tune concurrent processing of registered components, in response to such determination. In accordance with an embodiment, the system is extensible to support different low memory conditions and different components that require tuning of their processes. Datasets describing information such as heap usage, garbage collection, and stuck threads, can be captured and stored; and machine learning processes applied to those datasets, to deduce new low memory conditions. If memory pressure continues to be high, and is not controlled by tuning component processes, the system can determine likelihood of a memory leak, and restart the server.

Abstract: Technologies are described to increase a data limit for a user by introducing additional archive mailboxes as the original archive fills up or subsequently added archive mailboxes fill up. Thus, a user's data limit may be effectively removed through the use of additional archive mailboxes. In some examples, the additional mailboxes may be integrated into the architecture of the communication application such that their use is transparent to the user and/or an administrator of the communication application or associated service through the use of an application programming interface (API) that exposes a single multivalued strongly typed collection instead of dealing with multiple attributes and extending the schema every time a new type needs to be added. A mailbox locations attribute may act as the main storage of serialized mailbox locations and a mailbox identifier attribute may be used for indexing.
