    Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided a comb attachment for a blade system, the comb attachment comprising a rack component and a pinion assembly. The rack component is defined by one of a comb and a housing and comprises a rack. The housing is configured to attach to the blade system, and the pinion assembly comprises a pinion component defined by the other of the comb and the housing. The pinion assembly further comprises an axle retained by the pinion component, and a pinion disposed on the axle such that the pinion is rotatable with respect to the pinion component. The rack and the pinion are arranged to cooperate such that rotation of the pinion on the axle induces relative linear movement between the comb and the housing.

    Abstract: In order to improve hair debris collection, it is proposed to position a cut-hair-blocking element 18 with a partitioned barrier/shield 28 in front of a cutting arrangement 12 of a hair-cutting apparatus 10. Examples of the partitioned barrier/shield include e.g. a rigid comb shield 28a with spacings between teeth, a rigid comb barrier 28b with flexible material between teeth, and a fully flexible barrier. The partitioned barrier/shield allows hair to be cut to enter a cutting zone 20, but prevents cut hair from flying off.

The cleaning device (14) has at least one liquid-injection nozzle arranged and positioned in a receiving pit of the cleaning device for generating a jet of the cleaning liquid that, when the shaving unit is supported in a cleaning position by the cleaning device, propagates directly through one or more of the hair-entry openings (27) of the shaving unit only in a single sector (41) of the annular shaving track (37) of the outer hair-cutting member (27) extending over at most one half of the annular shaving track.

The elongated printed circuit board includes radio circuits and a ground plane for the antenna. The battery is configured to power the radio circuits. The speaker and the microphone are connected to the printed circuit board. The antenna includes a monopole antenna printed as a meandering trace on the printed circuit board. The ground plane forms a first part of the printed circuit board and the meandered trace forms a second part of the printed circuit board. The battery is mounted on the printed circuit board.
