Patent number: 12133021Abstract: A computer-implemented online conferencing transactional platform system comprising an interaction module, a video-conferencing module, and a storage device may allow multiple participants in a video-conference to access, co-browse, collaboratively edit, and sign a transactional document. An interaction module fetches an image of a transactional document and a field identifier for an interactive transactional document element to be filled out from a remotely-connected secure signature API, and displays the image of the document, along with the interactive transactional document element on a webpage interface to a moderator and a signer end user in a video-conference. The interaction module receives a filled-out transactional document in an I-frame from the secure signature API, allowing the signer end user to sign the transactional document using a secure embedded signature process.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2022Date of Patent: October 29, 2024Assignee: LIVEOAK TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Peter Rung, Andrew Ambrose, Thomas Brown

Publication number: 20240346601Abstract: A system may receive a first resource allocation request (associated with a first company) from a first entity. The system may determine that the first request is not associated with a risk relationship and arrange for it to be processed via a claim servicing entity. Information about the first request may then be routed to a request handler device for processing and a communication with a first graphical indication may be generated. The system may also receive a second resource allocation request (associated with the first company) from a second entity and determine that it is to be processed via a risk. The system may then route information about the second request to a request handler device for processing and generate a communication with a second graphical indication. Note that the request handler device may be the same device that received the information about the first request.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 25, 2024Publication date: October 17, 2024Inventors: Erik R. Patent number: 12116723Abstract: A system for creating folds in textiles. The system includes a tooling plate, a loading assembly, a fold mechanism, a wrangler mechanism, and a door mechanism. The loading assembly enable a user to load a textile into the system. The fold mechanism creates folds in the textile. The wrangler mechanism compacts a textile after folds have been created in it to retain and tighten the folds. The door mechanism opens and closes an opening in the tooling plate through which textiles can be transferred away from the wrangler mechanism. Preferably, the system may also include a robot arm equipped to transfer textiles about the system and a tying machine for applying bindings to textiles.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2022Date of Patent: October 15, 2024Assignee: Dye-No-Myte, Ltd.Inventors: Dominic Davirro, Brian Patrick O'Riordan, Ian Thomas Molitors, Nathan Matthew Brown, Luke Christopher Stonis, Terry Richard Paul, Shannon Douglas Staats

Publication number: 20240296010Abstract: A processing unit is provided with circuitry enabling execution quick evaluation of an exponential function. A multiplier circuit is used to multiply the input operand by log2(e), such that a result for the exponential function may be determined by evaluating 2i+f, where i is an integer part of a fixed-point number and f is a fractional part of the fixed-point number. A lookup table is used for providing an estimate for 2f based on the l MSBs of f. The lookup entries are provided according to a function such that the estimates for 2f are provided without bias towards either zero or infinity in the result. In other words, the maximum multiplicative error for each entry of the lookup table is the same in both negative and positive directions. In this way, statistical errors in the evaluation of a large number of exponential functions may be avoided.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 29, 2024Publication date: September 5, 2024Inventor: Thomas BROWN

Publication number: 20240193381Abstract: Radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems use readers to query and locate passive RFID tags in stores, warehouses, and other environments. A signal from the reader powers up the tag, which modulates and backscatters the signal toward the reader. Unfortunately, the maximum permitted RF signal power, self-interference at the reader, tag sensitivity, and channel loss limit the range at which readers can detect and locate tags. Using multiple readers simultaneously circumvents these limits. When used together, each reader transmits a signal to a tag in turn, and all of the readers listen for each of the tag's responses. The readers that are not transmitting do not experience self-interference and so can detect responses at lower power levels (longer ranges). Because the readers are at different locations, they measure different angles of arrival (AOAs) for each response. These simultaneous measurements can be used to locate each tag faster and with higher fidelity.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2022Publication date: June 13, 2024Applicant: Automaton, Inc.Inventors: Thomas A. Brown, III, Joe Mueller, Adam Blair, Spencer Hewett, Prokopios Panagiotou
