  • Patent number: 10940045
Abstract: A thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) foam having a soft open-cell inner layer and a washable closed-cell outer layer which surrounds and substantially seals the inner layer, and which may be used alone or in combination with other components to produce useful articles. The TPE foam includes a base resin which is a styrenic block copolymer, and a foaming agent. A process of forming and molding the TPE foam includes using a shutoff nozzle to prevent the foaming agent from activating before reaching the mold cavity, using an oversized gate to minimize shear heat, and using oversized vents. An earplug may be constructed by molding the TPE foam over a core or body formed from a material which is denser than the TPE foam. A first earplug design may employ a constrained layer damping effect, while a second earplug design may employ an adjustable sound attenuation effect.

  • Publication number: 20210047880
Abstract: A sliding door system (105) includes a track assembly (120) and a door (125) slidably connected to the track. Seals (245, 250, 605, 610, 300, 500) disposed about the door limit sound and/or infectious materials from passing thereby. One or more of the seals (245, 250) are disposed between the door and the track assembly. One or more other seals (605, 610) are disposed between the door and a wall to seal around the trailing end of the door. The system may also include a door dock (130) with one or more seals (300, 500) to seal around the leading end of the door. The system can also include a drop seal assembly (700) that selectively seals off a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.

  • Publication number: 20210014454
Abstract: A computer-implemented online conferencing transactional platform system comprising an interaction module, a video-conferencing module, and a storage device may allow multiple participants in a video-conference to access, co-browse, collaboratively edit, and sign a transactional document. An interaction module fetches an image of a transactional document and a field identifier for an interactive transactional document element to be filled out from a remotely-connected secure signature API, and displays the image of the document, along with the interactive transactional document element on a webpage interface to a moderator and a signer end user in a video-conference. The interaction module receives a filled-out transactional document in an I-frame from the secure signature API, allowing the signer end user to sign the transactional document using a secure embedded signature process.

  • Publication number: 20200353490
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to water fountain structures, and more specifically relate to modular fountain structures that include an adjustment bezel for changing a flow of water via an adjustable valve housed within them fountain structure. Adjustments to the valve to adjust the flow of water are effected by accessing the valve at the site of the fountain structure. The adjustment bezel or other manipulable device is incorporated with each fountain structure to provide control for flow of water emitted from the fountain, as the adjustment bezel is accessible without removal and/or disassembly of the fountain structure.

  • Publication number: 20200346786
Abstract: According to an embodiment, three-dimensional (3D) scan data representative of an in-service structure that is captured by a scanning device is accessed by a processor circuit. Based on the 3D scan data, in-service computer-aided design (CAD) data representative of an in-service surface corresponding to the in-service structure is generated by the processor circuit. Based on the in-service CAD data representative of the in-service surface, at least one of a serviceability level or remaining life estimate of the in-service structure is determined.

  • Publication number: 20200346098
Abstract: The disclosure includes a ski and ski pole carrying device that in many embodiments comprises two ski ties and lanyard. A ski pole strap with the proximal end coupled to a ski sleeve forms the ski tie. The ski ties may leave enough space between the sheaths and the bases to allow a portion of the skis' tips and tails to be slideably received by the ski tie as to secure the skis together. The ski ties may be arranged and configured for the skis' bases to be facing the same direction or in opposite directions. In some embodiments, the ski pole straps are a double sided hook and loop fastener arranged and configured to securely wrap around the respective ski tie and a pair of ski poles. The lanyard may be used in conjunction with the ski ties or independently to aid in carrying the skis and ski poles.

  • Patent number: 10652227
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for impersonating target user accounts via account redirection. In one aspect, a request may be received at a service issued from a temporary account of the service accessed by a client application. It may be determined whether the temporary account is stored in a mapping table comprising one or more temporary accounts mapped to a corresponding impersonation token. When it is determined that the temporary account is stored in the mapping table, the corresponding impersonation token mapped to the temporary account may be identified. The request may be processed in an impersonation mode based on the identified impersonation token.

  • Patent number: 10563745
Abstract: A wear compensator to compensate wear between a rack and a pinion including a yoke plug, a pin affixed to the yoke plug, jaws that surrounds the pin, a disc spring sandwiched between the yoke plug and the jaws, a stage compensator that receives and slides along the jaws to provide a frictional force, a rack guide in contact with the rack, a spring extending between the stage compensator and the rack guide, wherein when the rack guide transfers to the stage compensator a first load above a predetermined threshold, the frictional force overcomes prevents the spring disc to push the stage compensator towards the rack, and when the rack guide transfers to the stage compensator a second load below the predetermined threshold, the frictional force allows the spring disc to push the stage compensator towards the rack.

Abstract: Maleate polyester polyols and coatings made from the polyols are disclosed. The polyester polyols comprise recurring units of (a) a digested thermoplastic polyester or an aromatic dicarboxylate source; (b) a diol; (c) 5 to 95 mole % of an ?,?-unsaturated monomer; and (d) 5 to 95 mole % of adipic acid, succinic acid, or a mixture thereof, where the mole % ranges for (c) and (d) are based on the combined molar amounts of (c) and (d). The polyols have hydroxyl numbers within the range of 25 to 450 mg KOH/g, an average of 0.5 to 2.5 reactive unsaturation sites per molecule, and a viscosity less than 1500 cP at 75° C. The polyols are thermally curable or energy-curable. Coatings made from the maleate polyester polyols are also described. Traditional coatings based on polyisocyanates and/or (meth)acrylates can be made, in some cases with improved properties and reduced reliance on the acrylate or isocyanate-based components.
