Patent number: 10853493Abstract: A system and method for detecting Trojans and other intermittent severe defects in a digital circuit design. A simulation of the digital circuit design results in a value change dump file, which is compiled to form a value change summary file containing counts of the numbers of value changes for the signals in the digital circuit design. A discriminative neural network analyzes the value change summary file to determine whether an intermittent severe defect is present. A corpus of digital circuit designs, with and without intermittent severe defects, is used to train the discriminative neural network. The training process may involve dimensionality reduction of the data, enlargement of the data set, and data compression using an autoencoder.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2017Date of Patent: December 1, 2020Assignee: Raytheon BBN Technologies CorpInventors: Thomas Gilbert Roden, III, James Brian Schneider, Zachary Isaac Grove

Publication number: 20200301589Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for cluster configuration information replication, managing cluster-wide service agents, and/or for cluster-wide outage detection. In an example of cluster configuration information replication, a replication workflow corresponding to a storage operation implemented for a storage object (e.g., renaming of a volume) of a first cluster may be transferred to a second storage cluster for selectively implementation. In an example of managing cluster-wide service agents, cluster-wide service agents are deployed to nodes of a cluster storage environment, where a master agent actively processes cluster service calls and standby agents passively wait for reassignment as a failover master in the event the master agent fails. In an example of cluster-wide outage detection, a cluster-wide outage may be determined for a cluster storage environment based upon a number of inaccessible nodes satisfying a cluster outage detection metric.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 9, 2020Publication date: September 24, 2020Inventors: Gregory Buzzard, Justin Travis Cady, Thomas Gilbert Snyder, Satya R. Patent number: 10630467Abstract: A method includes sending, to a compute device and via a private channel, a public key for asymmetric encryption. The method also includes concurrently authenticating the compute device and generating a traffic key for symmetric encryption, based at least in part on the public key. The method further includes sending a message to the compute device, the message being encrypted using the traffic key via the symmetric encryption.Type: GrantFiled: January 4, 2019Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: Blue Ridge Networks, Inc.Inventors: Thomas A. Patent number: 9886558Abstract: A system and method for creating a unique alias associated with an individual identified in a health care database such that health care data, and particularly pharmaceutical-related data, can be efficiently gathered and analyzed. The system has a first store for storing at least one record where each record includes a plurality of identification fields which when concatenated uniquely identify an individual, and at least one health care field corresponding to health care data associated with the individual. The system also has a second data store, and a processor. The processor selects a record of the first data store, then selects a subset of the plurality of identification fields within the selected record, and concatenates the selected subset of identification fields. Then the processor stores the concatenated identification fields in a record in the second store with at least one health care field from the selected record of the first data store.Type: GrantFiled: January 2, 2015Date of Patent: February 6, 2018Assignee: Quintiles IMS IncorporatedInventors: N. Patent number: 9609017Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and global traffic manager computing device for preventing distributed denial of service attack comprising machine executable code which when executed by at least one processor, causes the processor to perform steps including obtaining network information relating to a request in response to receiving the request. A rating is determined for the obtained network information based on one or more network parameters. An action to be taken for the received request is determined based on a comparison of the determined rating and a threshold rating. The determined action is executed for the received request.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2013Date of Patent: March 28, 2017Assignee: F5 Networks, Inc.Inventors: Daniel Thomas Gilbert, Nathan Meyer

Patent number: 9586079Abstract: An apparatus for human exercise in certain configurations includes first and second foot pads attached to first and second guided carrier members, respectively. A first curved guide rail portion is coupled to the first guided carrier member, and prevents motion of the first guided carrier member except for translation along the first curved guide rail portion. A second curved guide rail portion is coupled to the second guided carrier member, and prevents motion of the second guided carrier member except for translation along the second curved guide rail portion. A first motion resistor is coupled to the first foot pad and opposes a translation of the first foot pad along the first curved guide rail portion. Each of the first curved guide rail portion and the second curved guide rail portion is curved away from an underlying ground plane, to define a distally increasing rail height.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2015Date of Patent: March 7, 2017Assignee: TCDP, LLCInventors: Thomas Gilbert Jones, Scott Lee
