Abstract: Systems, methods, and software can be used to transmit data over a radio access technology (RAT). In some aspect, a data transmission using a first radio access technology (RAT) is initiated at a mobile device. A timer is started at a first value. When the timer expires, it is determined that data remains to be transmitted. In response to determining that data remains to be transmitted: the data transmission is suspended, and a search is initiated for a second RAT for transmitting the remaining data. The second RAT provides a higher data rate than the first RAT.

Abstract: An embodiment combines the concepts of image enhancement and pointing to enhance the experience of viewing images by tracking where the viewer is pointing. The result is to make the viewing experience more like viewing the original scene, or to enhance the viewing experience in new ways beyond the original experience, either automatically, or by interacting with a photographer's previously specified intentions for what should happen when the viewer points at a particular portion of an image or images taken by that photographer.

If the cause code corresponds to a no-retry behavior of the data session retry mechanism of the mobile communication device, the mobile communications device no longer requesting activation of a data session with the node.

As a fluid is passed into the tubular casing through the fluid inlet, a first direction of rotation is imparted to the fluid. The fluid is discharged from the tubular casing through the fluid outlet, after the fluid has been irradiated by the radiating element.

Abstract: Systems and methods for geological medium exploration are provided herein. A method of geological medium exploration may include generating vibrations in a geological medium and recording wave-fields at a surface and in a borehole. Additionally, the method may include obtaining a wave field modification operator and applying the wave-field operator to a full range of seismic data to achieve a spectrally-modified wave field.
