  • Patent number: 12212863
Abstract: In global shutter image sensors, the light shields are often not completely lightproof and incoming light causes continued exposure even after the global shutter is shut. This ‘parasitic light’ degrades the recorded image. Disclosed is a method, performed by an imaging device with a global shutter image sensor, for recording an image with reduced degrading effects from parasitic light in the image sensor. The disclosed device and related method combine the global shutter functionality of the global shutter image sensor with a shutter such as a mechanical shutter. A precise synchronization of the closing of the shutter means that the shutter can block all incoming light—and thus stop parasitic light in the image sensor—shortly after the exposure is stopped by the global shutter image sensor. This allows the imaging device to record very short exposure images without the detrimental effects of parasitic light.

  • Publication number: 20250020462
Abstract: Geographical maps, orthomosaics, 2D/3D models and other photogrammetry products are typically generated from RGB image data. This requires a conversion step from the captured raw format image to RGB. Such conversion can result in image artifacts, blurring and reduction of image resolution, loss of dynamic range, increase in image data size etc. A method is disclosed to avoid conversion into standard RGB image formats at the time of capture and to preserve the full data integrity and image quality all the way through the photogrammetry workflow. Having the raw format image data available at all stages in the workflow will make it possible to extract exactly the data needed at any step in this workflow without compromising the data for other steps. This leads to significant savings in terms of storage space, data transfer bandwidth and processing resource requirements.

  • Patent number: 12079819
Abstract: For micro, small and medium enterprises issues relating to cost, manpower, IT infrastructure, etc. absorb a major portion of the enterprise's focus. However, today they are also marketing and engaging their customers and potential customers on more parallel channels than ever today across traditional media, electronic media and evolving trends such as social media, blogs, etc. Accordingly, micro, small and medium enterprises would benefit from a solution implementing lead management across these wide range of technologies and formats at a time where network capabilities and portable electronic device capabilities have led to expectations, especially within younger demographics such as “millennials” particularly, of immediate responsiveness.

  • Publication number: 20240129646
Abstract: In global shutter image sensors, the light shields are often not completely lightproof and incoming light causes continued generation of charges in the shielded storage units even after the global shutter functionality has ended exposure, such as during the readout of the recorded image. This ‘parasitic light’ degrades the recorded image. Disclosed is a method, performed by an imaging device with a global shutter image sensor, for recording an image with reduced degrading effects from parasitic light in the image sensor. The disclosed imaging device and related method combine the global shutter functionality of the global shutter image sensor with a shutter such as a mechanical shutter. • Patent number: 11006487
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microwave powered sensor assembly for microwave ovens. The microwave powered sensor assembly includes a microwave antenna to generate an RF antenna signal in response to microwave radiation at a predetermined excitation frequency. A direct current (dc) power supply circuit of the microwave powered sensor assembly is operatively coupled to the RF antenna signal to extract energy from the RF antenna signal and produce a power supply voltage. A sensor is connected to the power supply voltage and configured to measure a physical or chemical property of a food item under heating in a microwave oven chamber.
