  • Patent number: 7128054
Abstract: The fuel injection system has a high-pressure pump, by which fuel is pumped at high pressure into a reservoir. By means of a feed pump, fuel is pumped from a fuel tank to the high-pressure pump. By means of a fuel metering device, disposed between the feed pump and the high-pressure pump, the inflow of fuel to the high-pressure pump is adjusted. From the connection between the feed pump and the fuel metering device, a bypass connection leads away to a relief region. An inflow of fuel from the feed pump to the fuel metering device and/or to the bypass connection is effected through at least one conduit in a housing part, and in the at least one conduit, at least one fuel filter is disposed upstream of the fuel metering device and/or of the bypass connection.

  • Patent number: 6634556
Abstract: An arrangement for and a method of reading bar code symbols on a target to move a light beam emitted by a light source in a multiple line, scan pattern during a scan period in a first operational mode. Upon selection of a second operational mode by a user, a controller intermittently operates and energizes the light source to emit the light beam for a working time period which is less than, and a fraction of, the scan period to generate a single scan line across the symbol.

  • Patent number: 6635875
Abstract: The invention relates to an infrared gas analyser (1), especially for use as a gas detector for leak detection using a sampling probe. Said gas analyser comprises a vessel (test vessel 2), through which a test gas flows, and an infrared light source (4, 5, 42) which produces an infrared light that shines through the test vessel (2). The analyser further encompasses a detector (35) that facilitates measurement of the infrared light absorption in the test gas. The aim of the invention is to provide at low costs an analyser that is apt for every day use. To this end, a reference vessel (3) through which a reference gas flows is provided in addition to the test vessel (2) through which the test gas flows. A reference gas is sucked from the environment of the test gas suction area. The same or an additional light source (4, 5, 42) and the same detector (35) are allocated to said reference vessel.

  • Patent number: 6618306
Abstract: A digital circuit configuration includes a memory matrix having M rows and N columns and P<M additional rows and Q<N additional columns, and an addressing device whose address connection contacts are sufficient precisely for addressing the M rows and N columns. To address the additional rows and columns as well, particularly, for test purposes, only a single control bit connection contact is provided with a changeover device responding to control bits from the control bit connection contact and from dedicated address connection contacts to associate applied address bits either with addressing of the M rows and N columns or the additional rows and columns. The numbers P and Q are chosen such that the addressing of P elements requires at least two bits fewer than the addressing of M elements, and such that the addressing of Q elements requires at least two bits fewer than the addressing of N elements.

  • Patent number: 6560732
Abstract: Before a write and/or read access to one of the memory cells is carried out, a security information stored in a security memory cell is read out. If the security information is characterized by a first logic state an error signal is generated. If the read-out security information is characterized by a second logic state the memory cell is accessed and a write access is carried out to the security memory cell during which a new security information to be he stored having the second logic state is written to the cell.
