  • Publication number: 20040247153
Abstract: An electro-acoustic transducer (1) is proposed for a component operating with surface waves, in particular for a surface wave filter, in which, to suppress interfering excitation ensuing in the gap region, a variation of the gaps (4) is implemented with regard to at least one feature selected from transversal arrangement, size and shape. Due to the slight dimension change (&Dgr;D) in comparison to the finger length, the desired primary excitation in the transducer remains approximately unchanged, however the interfering excitation is displaced or divided, and therewith made ineffectual.

  • Patent number: 6758315
Abstract: A hydraulic clutch has an impeller wheel, a turbine wheel with a turbine wheel shell, and a torsional vibration damper. The turbine wheel is drivable by the impeller wheel. The turbine wheel shell is mounted in an axial and radial sliding bearing so as to be rotatable with respect to a turbine wheel hub. The torsional vibration damper is arranged on the turbine wheel hub so as to be fixed with respect to rotation relative to it. The turbine wheel hub is drivable by the turbine wheel via the turbine wheel shell and the torsional vibration damper. The turbine wheel shell acts on the torsional vibration damper via a connection element. The axial sliding bearing is spatially offset with respect to the radial sliding bearing.

  • Publication number: 20040090145
Abstract: For improved conformance of a filter operating with acoustic waves, a transducer structure is proposed in which the separations between respectively two adjacent electrode fingers of an inter-digital transducer (IDTv) vary over the length of the transducer. The variation thereby preferably follows a continuous distribution function. Reactance filters that are provided with such filters in the serial branch show an improved electrical conformance in the transmission range.

  • Publication number: 20040073680
Abstract: OPC data is transmitted via data networks, in particular the Internet. A bi-directional data connection via the Internet in both directions, is enabled even across firewalls and starting from an OPC client, which is not visible as a server on the Internet. To achieve this, a first connection request for establishing a first transmission channel is sent from a first data processing device of an OPC client, via a data connection, to an OPC server of an automation system. The OPC server responds to the request using a second transmission channel. The data connection is thus kept open permanently, allowing data to be sent and received bi-permanently, allowing data to be sent and received bi-directionally, said operations being temporally independent of each other, between the OPC client and the OPC server by at least one data network, in particular, the Internet.

  • Patent number: 6702079
Abstract: A hydrodynamic clutch arrangement, particularly a torque converter or fluid coupling, includes a housing arrangement, a turbine wheel provided in the housing arrangement, and a lockup clutch arrangement by which a torque transmitting connection can be produced selectively between the turbine wheel and the housing arrangement. The lockup clutch arrangement includes at least two friction members which are rotatable with one of the housing arrangement and turbine wheel, and at least one counter-friction member which is interposed between the two friction members and is rotatable with the other of the housing arrangement and turbine wheel. A first friction facing on at least one of the friction members at its first side faces the at least one counter-friction member. This at least one of the friction members can be brought into frictional interaction, via a second friction facing, with another counter-friction member on its second side located opposite to the first side.

  • Publication number: 20040030698
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and a method for transmitting data via data networks, especially via the Internet. The aim of the invention is to create a bi-directional data connection even behind firewalls, via Internet in both directions, including from a client (1) not visible as a server in the Internet. To this end, the invention provides a method or a system in which a first connection request for establishing a first transmission channel (6a, 7a, 8a) is sent to a server (4) of an automation system (5) from a first data processing device (1) of a client (1) via a data connection (6, 7, 8). This request is answered by the server (4) via a second transmission channel (6b, 7b, 8b). The data connection (6, 7, 8) is kept permanently open, hereby allowing mutually time-independent bi-directional sending and receiving of data between the client (1) and the server (4), via at least one data network, especially via the Internet.
