Publication number: 20260134242Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for reading labels. In response to an object of the one or more objects being targeted, the object is identified as a targeted object and a select timer it started. Once the select timer has started, it continues to run whether or not the targeted object continues to be targeted. The targeted object is selected if it is being targeted when the select timer elapses. If the targeted object is not being targeted when the select timer elapses, a validate timer may be started and the targeted object selected if is retargeted before the validate timer elapses. If another object is targeted prior to the select timer elapsing, the other object may be identified as the targeted object and the select timer restarted. Objects are targeted by orienting the reader so that an aiming feature in the video feed touches the targeted object.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 10, 2025Publication date: May 14, 2026Inventors: Thomas Bernard, Anderson Bordim, Quentin Brun, Jeremie Georges Gerard Petitjean, Mojtaba Peyvandy

Patent number: 10129588Abstract: A digital broadcast receiver transmits a request for discovery information to a discovery information server, the request including receiver profile information associated with the current state of the digital broadcast receiver. The server identifies, on the basis of the receiver profile information, additional services that are available over an IP with a digital broadcasting receiver, and transmits discovery information for the additional services to the receiver. Then, the digital broadcast receiver determines a receiver channel number in order to locate the additional service at a channel guide on the basis of the received discovery information and logical channel numbers that are assigned to a plurality of broadcast services by a broadcast provider, and generates a channel guide by including the additional services in the determined receiver channel number and the plurality of broadcast services of the respective receiver channel numbers corresponding to the logical channel numbers.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 2014Date of Patent: November 13, 2018Assignee: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Yann Muller, Jan-David Stephane Outters, Stephen Baker, Thomas Bernard

Patent number: 9221712Abstract: A method for using a temperature control loop in order to further develop process control during elongation of a cylindrical preform such that a component strand with high dimensional accuracy can be drawn even in the presence of temperature-effective defects during the elongation process: (a) the continuous measurement of a first temperature value, Ttop, at an upper measuring point on the surface of the cylindrical preform; (b) the continuous measurement of a second temperature value, Tbottom, at a lower measuring point; (c) calculation of a temperature distribution in the region between the measuring points Ttop and Tbottom, and determination of a modelled deformation temperature, Tmodel, using an algorithmic model taking with first and the second temperature values as model input parameters, and the modelled deformation temperature, Tmodel, as a regulating variable and the heating-zone temperature Toven as a manipulated variable for the temperature-control loop.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2012Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignees: Heraeus Quarzglas GmbH & Co.
