  • Publication number: 20230213189
Abstract: A viewport for a combustion zone includes an inner casing having a flange extending into the combustion zone. A first layer of ceramic fiber insulation is exterior to the inner casing. A middle casing includes two panes of quartz glass separated by traverse plates. A second layer of ceramic fiber insulation is exterior to the middle casing. An outer casing is positioned to the exterior of the second layer of insulation. The middle casing includes L-shaped ledges having third and fourth layers of ceramic insulation. The panes of glass are each positioned between layers of insulation and the insulation positioned in the L-shaped ledges. The viewport is modular enabling the separation of the first layer of insulation, the middle casing, the second layer of insulation and the outer casing from the combustion zone for maintenance or repair. • Publication number: 20230190151
Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods that may utilize an analyte sensor system comprising a sensor enclosure; an analyte sensor extending from the sensor enclosure; and sensor electronics positioned within the sensor enclosure. The sensor electronics may be configured to detect that a wireless signal has changed from a first state to a second state, where the wireless signal may be provided through the sensor enclosure. After detecting that the wireless signal has changed from the first state to the second state, the sensor electronics may monitor whether the wireless signal remains in the second state for at least a stability threshold time period. The sensor electronics may execute a responsive action in the sensor system based at least in part on whether the wireless signal remains in the second state for at least the stability threshold time period.

  • Publication number: 20230183429
Abstract: Polymer powders useful for additive manufacturing may be made by contacting carbon dioxide and a crystallizable polymer having at least one carbonyl, sulfur oxide or sulfone group; permeating the carbon dioxide into the polymer for a crystallizing time sufficient to induce crystallization forming an induced crystalized polymer; removing the carbon dioxide; and forming induced crystalized polymer particles having a D90 particle size of at most 300 micrometers and average particle size of 1 micrometer to 100 micrometers equivalent spherical diameter. The carbon dioxide is desirably supercritical carbon dioxide for at least a portion of the crystallizing time. The polymer powders upon heating during additive manufacturing may result in a polymer having less crystallinity or become amorphous.

  • Patent number: 11674814
Abstract: A device can obtain historical accident data identifying accidents within a geographic region. The device can classify geographic areas within the geographic region as being sparse accident-prone zones (APZs) or dense APZs by processing the historical accident data using a clustering technique and clustering parameters. The device can generate data identifying geographic boundaries of the sparse APZs and the dense APZs. The device can provide the data identifying the geographic boundaries to be stored using a data structure. The device can receive telematics data associated with a vehicle within the geographic region. The device can determine whether the vehicle is in or approaching a particular APZ based on whether a location of the vehicle is within the particular APZ or based on whether the vehicle is likely to enter the particular APZ. The device can provide an alert to the vehicle or a user device associated with the vehicle.
