The compile time logic partitions execution of the dataflow graph into stages. Each of the stages has one or more compute nodes, one or more producers, and one or more consumers. The runtime logic determines a processing latency for each of the stages by calculating time elapsed between producers of a particular stage receiving input data and consumers of the particular stage receiving output data. The instrumentation profiling logic generates performance statistics for the dataflow graph based on the processing latency determined for each of the stages.

    Abstract: A process for joining two sheeting articles reinforced with unidirectionally aligned endless-fibres by ultrasonic welding, wherein the fibres are embedded in a matrix of polycarbonate and the sheeting articles have abutting ends that are substantially rectangular and substantially even. The process comprises (1) arranging the sheeting articles next to one another end-to-end in the region of the abutting ends in a welding apparatus between a sonotrode and an anvil, (2) welding the sheeting articles by means of ultrasound, wherein the sonotrode and the anvil exert pressure on the to-be-welded sheeting articles in the melting region between the sheeting articles and perpendicularly to the abutting ends of the sheeting articles, and (3) removing the sheeting articles that are welded to one another from the welding apparatus. Also provided is a second process for joining two sheeting articles, a sheeting article, an apparatus, and a multilayer composite.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an injection-molding process for the production of an injection-molded element, comprising a film element and an in-mold-coating layer directly injected onto said element. The film element occupies only part of the area of the in-mold-coating layer, and therefore at least one portion of the film edges of said film element is located in the middle of the relevant area of the injection-molded element. In order to avoid notching in the boundary region, the process for the production of the injection-molded element utilizes dynamic temperature control for locally restricted heating of the mold in the region where the flow front of the in-mold-coating material encounters the film material.
