Abstract: Disclosed herein are related to a method, a system, and a non-transitory computer readable medium for backing up a virtual machine. In one aspect, an instruction to store a requested state of a virtual machine is received. Configurations of the virtual machine in the requested state are determined, and a configuration data indicative of the determined configurations of the virtual machine is generated. The configuration data is stored. Another instruction to load the virtual machine in the requested state from a plurality of states of the virtual machine may be received. The stored configuration data indicative of the configurations of the virtual machine in the requested state may be retrieved. The configurations of the virtual machine in the requested state may be identified based on the retrieved configuration data, and the virtual machine in the requested state may be loaded according to the identified configurations.

  • Publication number: 20200192895
Abstract: A process control tool for processing wide data from automated manufacturing operations. The tool including a feature selector, an analysis server, and a visualization engine. The feature selector receives process input data from at least one manufacturing process application, wherein the process input data includes a plurality of observations and associated variables, converts the received process input data to a stacked format having one row for each variable in each observation, converts identified categorical variables into numerical variables and identified time-series data into fixed numbers of intervals, computes statistics that measure the strengths of relationships between predictor values and an outcome variable, orders, filters, and pivots the predictor values. The analysis server performs at least one operation to identify interactions between predictor values, e.g. using maximum Likelihood computations or predefined searches, in the filtered predictor values.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for producing materials for construction and for dust control utilizing enzyme producing cells, an amount of a nitrogen source such as urea, and an amount of calcium such as calcium chloride. Calcium contributes to the formation of calcium carbonate which creates a solid structure, layer or shield. One or more compositions containing components of the invention can be sprayed or otherwise applied to surfaces for erosion control, foundation support, prevention of sink hole formation, prevention of dust formation, or other applications. Ammonia, water and other by-products of the process can be recycled and re-utilized for the same or other purposes including, for example, as fertilizers and energy sources, or independently fermented from selectively cultivated microorganisms.

  • Patent number: 10671603
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for performing an auto-query construction operation for use with a distributed analytics operation. More specifically, in certain embodiments, the auto-query construction operation provides automatically generates SQL code instructions via an auto-query construction user interface (UI) settings in a computational system, such as the Dell Statistica computational system. The auto-query construction operation allows a user to interact with a common interface to provide query information including decision variables, parameters of an analysis and convergence criteria. The query information provided via the UI is automatically transformed to database queries and subsequent computation system operations. Thus, the user experience remains intact whether the analytics is performed in database or within the computation system.

  • Publication number: 20200120134
Abstract: A first network element, such as a router, in a computer network may have established a communication link with a second network element in the computer network. A secure session associated with the communication link between the first and second network elements may then be established. The secure session may use a secure communication function on each of the first network element and the second network element. The first network element may then detect that the first network element cannot communicate with the second network element over the communication link. When the first network element cannot communicate with the second network element, the first network element may terminate the communication link and the secure session associated with the communication link.

  • Patent number: 10386822
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for identifying sources of variation in complex manufacturing processes via a variation identification operation. In certain embodiments, the variation identification operation is performed via a variation identification system. The variation identification operation addresses special class of analytic problems, namely the estimation of variance components and related statistics from very large (big data) hierarchically nested designs of random factors. These types of data structures occur frequently across various industries, and in particular in automated and batch manufacturing where the variability in product quality as measured in final product testing should be related to batches, lots, wafers, suppliers, etc. upstream of the process.

  • Publication number: 20190097924
Abstract: In a first enclave of a label switching network (LSN), a protocol data unit (PDU) of the LSN is formatted to include a network service field specifying a service to be applied to the PDU. The service field can be positioned between PDU data link layer and network layer fields. The PDU specifies PDU routing/forwarding information for a path in the LSN ending in an LSN second enclave, and routing/forwarding for a destination between path segments in a non-LSN. The PDU is communicated from the first enclave, via the non-LSN, to the second enclave in accordance with the routing/forwarding information for the destination between path segments in the non-LSN. In the second enclave, each network service specified for the PDU is determined and then applied to the PDU. The second enclave transmits the network serviced PDU from the second enclave in accordance with the routing/forwarding information of the PDU in the label switching network.

  • Patent number: 10057521
Abstract: A high-speed CMOS camera includes an array of pixel circuits coupled to a photodiode array, an oscillator circuit, and a pattern generator circuit. The pattern generator circuit includes a high speed shift register and a non-overlap generator. The shift register is programmable to produce a pulse train of trigger pulses that defines an interframe and a frame's shutter duration. The non-overlap generator deserializes the incoming pulse train of trigger pulses, and it produces a time-separated reset pulse based on the pulse train of trigger pulses. The shift register is configured to permit the frame durations and the interframe times to be selected arbitrarily over specified ranges in increments of a basic time unit that depends on the oscillator period.
