  • Patent number: 8306571
Abstract: When deactivating a subscription and SIM card, the SIM card is connected to the ODA database, an instruction to deactivate the SIM card and cancel the subscription is transferred to the ODA, information in the memory of the SIM card including the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) of the SIM card, is transferred to the ODA, which is arranged to be connected to the network, including a HLR/AUC. The ODA retrieves the subscription information, and replaces the IMSI of the SIM card with a temporary IMSI called IMSI-T. The ODA stores the information in the memory of the SIM card together with the IMSI-T in the database. The ODA also stores the information together with the IMSI-T and transfers to the network an instruction to cancel the subscription in the network. The SIM card may be reactivated using the information stored in the ODA database and on the SIM card including the IMSI-T.

  • Publication number: 20120274772
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques for monitoring railway track geometry. In one aspect, some such tools and techniques can determine a location of a platform along a railway, capture one or more images of the railway, and/or analyze the rail configuration at that point. In another aspect, some solutions might employ photogrammetric techniques to analyze the rail configuration and thereafter store data about the rail configuration, perhaps correlated with the location of the images, in a data store.

  • Publication number: 20100279655
Abstract: Method of remote managing on-card generation of keys on SIM cards from a central OTA system, which OTA system has information about the identity of the SIM card, a first key KO stored on the SIM card, which first key is not readable from the SIM card, and a key generation algorithm stored on the SIM card. The central OTA system is caused to generate a piece of data D by a first algorithm D=f(K0,K1), where K1 is a key that shall be stored on the SIM card, the data D is transferred to the SIM card with OTA technology, an application on the SIM card is caused to make a calculation according to a second algorithm K1=F(K0,D) to generate the desired key K1 and K1 is stored on the SIM card.
