  • Publication number: 20200207445
Abstract: A mooring rope includes a rope body, a fixing sleeve, and a data carrier. The rope body has two fixed segments and a rope loop between the fixed segments. The fixing sleeve combines the two fixed segments. The data carrier includes a connecting piece, a main body, and a tag member. The connecting piece is arranged in the fixing sleeve. The main body is connected to the connecting piece. The tag member is mounted on the main body. The tag member stores information for an external data reader to read in a non-contacting manner. As such, the data carrier can be firmly fixed on the mooring rope without falling off easily.

  • Patent number: 10509837
Abstract: In one embodiment, a web service engine server 104 may predict a successive action by a user based on an entity reference 302. The web service engine server 104 may identify an entity reference 302 in a data transmission caused by a user. The web service engine server 104 may determine from the data transmission a user intention towards the entity reference 302 using an intention model based on a transmission log. The web service engine server 104 may predict a related successive web action option 522 for the entity reference 302 based on the user intention.

  • Patent number: 9736990
Abstract: A gardening shears includes two handles, a first shear blade connected to one handle and providing a suspension arm portion, a linking rod connected to the other handle, a second shear blade coaxially pivoted to the first shear blade and the linking rod and providing an elongated slot, and a control unit including an arched guide member fixedly connected with its one end to the linking rod and a guide wheel pivotally connected to the suspension arm portion of the first shear blade with a guiding protrusion thereof inserted into the elongated slot of the second shear blade. Thus, when opening and closing the handles, the mating arrangement of the arched guide member, the guide wheel and the elongated slot of the second shear blade enables the first and second shear blade to implement the shearing action twice.

  • Patent number: 9591808
Abstract: A gardening shears includes a first blade, a driving arm pivoted to the first blade, a second blade pivoted to the first blade, and a link arm pivotally connected between the driving arm and the second blade. The bottom portion of the second blade has a sliding groove and positioning recesses. A switching device installed inside the driving arm is locatable at a first usage position where an end of the link arm is stationarily engaged with a positioning recess next to the top end of the sliding groove for enabling a direct cutting mode for cutting a small-sized branch, and a second usage position where the end of the link arm is slidable in the sliding groove and selectively engageable with one of the positioning recesses for enabling a stepwise cutting mode for stepwise cutting off a large-sized branch by changing the force-applying fulcrum.

  • Patent number: 9545714
Abstract: A rotary extension rod includes an outer tube, an inner tube received in the outer tube, a rotatable assembly having a knob, a fixing seat and a link, and a positioning ring deposited on the fixing seat. The knob is rotatably deposited at one end of the outer tube. The fixing seat is received in the outer tube and fixed to one end of the inner tube. The link is between the knob and the fixing seat, and has two opposite first radially raised portions. The positioning ring has two opposite second radially raised portions. By rotating the knob, the first radially raised portions are posed to abut against or depart from the second radially raised portions, so that the positioning ring radially deforms to press against or release the outer tube, in turn allowing the length of the extension rod to be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20160345506
Abstract: A pair of pruning shears includes a handle, a first blade, a second blade, and a controlling unit. The first blade is pivotally connected to an upper end of the handle. The second blade is pivotally connected to the first blade and has a second cutting edge and a second hilt. The second hilt is connected to a lower end of the second cutting edge and has an abutting surface and a series of sockets located opposite to the abutting surface. The controlling unit has a gear and a pushing member. The gear is mounted on handle and meshes with the sockets of the second hilt of the second blade. The pushing member pushes upon the abutting surface of the second hilt of the second blade. Thereby, the first and second blades cut with improved smoothness, and the overall structural strength of the pruning shears is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20160275139
Abstract: Architecture that utilizes server-based signals (e.g., past engagement, application popularity, spell-correction, mined search patterns, machine learning models, etc.) to improve relevance of search results for local applications and settings. The architecture works for any operating system (OS) and any client device that has local settings or applications installed. The architecture also covers instances where server-signals are being used to improve queries on devices where settings are searched but no applications are installed or will not be installed.

  • Patent number: 9205549
Abstract: A retractable bar is provided to include an inner tube and an outer tube sleeved onto the inner tube. A positioning assembly has a sliding block movably disposed in the outer tube, a locating pin axially inserted in a guiding slot of the sliding block and abutted against an abutment portion of the sliding block, and a knob connected to the sliding block through a linking member for driving the sliding block to move. By this way, when the sliding block is driven by the linking member to move along an axial direction of the outer tube, the locating pin will be pushed by the abutment portion of the sliding block to disengaged from a locating hole of the inner tube, such that the inner and outer tubes can be moved relative to each other, thereby achieving adjustment of the length of the retractable bar.

  • Publication number: 20150278370
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for facilitating task completion. For example, a natural language input (e.g., “where should we eat”) may be received from a user of a client device. The natural language input may be evaluated using a set of user contextual signals, opted-in for exposure by the user for facilitating task completion, to identify a user task intent. For example, a user task intent of viewing a local Mexican restaurant menu may be identified based upon a social network post of the user indicating that the user is meeting a friend for Mexican food. Task completion functionality may be exposed to the user based upon the user task intent. For example, a restaurant app may be deep launched to display a menu of a local Mexican restaurant.

  • Patent number: 8863392
Abstract: A grafting pruner includes a first handle and a second handle pivotally connected together, a fixed cutter holder affixed to the first handle, a link affixed to the second handle, a cutter assembly mounted between the fixed cutter holder and the link. A pivot device is inserted through an arched sliding slot of the fixed cutter holder, an axle hole of the link and a longitudinal sliding slot of the cutter blade assembly to secure the fixed cutter blade, the link and the cutter blade assembly together. During relative movement between the first and second handles subject to an external force, the link will be forced by the second handle to move along the arched sliding slot, pushing the cutter blade assembly toward the first handle to cut a living shoot or bud off a plant.
