  • Patent number: 9316486
Abstract: Determining the position and orientation of base station antennas in mobile radio is highly important for optimizing the transmission parameters. It requires time-consuming and costly effort, since measurements need to be taken directly at the antenna. Furthermore, it is often impossible to access the antennas. This has a very disadvantageous effect on the precision of the data, which means that the optimizing results suffer greatly from this. The method according to the invention and the presented apparatus allow the position and orientation of the transmission antenna to be found quickly, precisely and inexpensively without needing to take measurements close to the antenna. This involves the absolute position of the antenna being determined by means of automatic determination of the coordinates of the reference point, measurement of distance to the target antenna, measurement of the angle of inclination and measurement of the orientation of the measuring equipment.

  • Patent number: 7853581
Abstract: A data processing system for processing object data of a plurality of standard instances (101), where object identification data (100) and user data (110) in the object data database (20) can be stored and retrieved separately from each other so that no relationship between the object identification data (100) and the user data (110) can be derived from the stored data records alone, where at least one input device is provided which, after input of an allocated security code for the standard instance, permits access to the object identification data (100) of the assigned standard instance and to the associated user data (110), and the security code or a part thereof remains with the standard instance (101), with the recovery instance and if necessary with further instances (50, 60) determined by the standard instance.

  • Publication number: 20080315984
Abstract: The invention relates to a thermal tripping device which is heated indirectly by means of a heating winding and which comprises a release strip made of thermostatic bimetal, a form memory alloy or similar. An insulating intermediate layer is arranged between the heating winding and the release strip and one of the ends of the heating winding is connected to a supply conductor. The heating winding is embodied in an identically meandering manner for all current intensities and is folded about the insulating intermediate layer. In order to modify the resistance of the heating winding for other current intensities, the discharge is connected to a wiring point between the ends of the heating windings.
