  • Patent number: 11208869
Abstract: Provided is a packer plug. The packer plug, in this example, may include an engagement member having a no go feature configured to engage a no go shoulder of an associated packer assembly. The packer plug, in the example, further includes a nose cone having one or more nose cone openings coupled proximate a downhole end of the engagement member, and a check valve coupled proximate the engagement member. The check valve, engagement member, and nose cone, in this example, create a fluid path between a lower end and an upper end of the packer plug. Further to this example, the check valve is configured to allow downhole fluid to pass uphole through the fluid path as the packer plug is being pushed downhole, but substantially prevent uphole fluid from passing downhole through the fluid path as the packer plug is being pulled uphole.

  • Patent number: 11187223
Abstract: A home flood prevention appliance system includes controller circuitry disposed in a shroud above a cover of a sump basin, and a plurality of electrically operated sump pumps disposed in a lower portion of a structural frame positionable below the cover in the sump basin. The system also includes a water control actuator operable as a water main control device for a domestic water distribution network and a flow meter to measure the flow of municipal water supplied to the network. The controller circuitry configured to selectively energize the pumps to extract liquid from a sump basin based on a liquid level in the sump basin. The water control actuator controlled by the controller circuitry to shut off a municipal water supply to the domestic water distribution network in response to detection of a leak. Communication circuitry included in the home flood prevention appliance may wirelessly communicate.

  • Publication number: 20210363844
Abstract: The embodiments include methods and tools to activate downhole apparatuses. In one embodiment, a hydrostatic pressure intensifier includes a housing having at least two different internal cross-sectional surface areas. The housing includes a device mounted on the housing and operable to actuate in response to being subject to a threshold amount of pressure. The housing also includes a first piston housed in a first chamber of the housing, where the first piston has a first cross-sectional area and a first stroke length, and a second piston housed in a second chamber of the housing, where the second piston has a second cross-sectional area and a second stroke length, and where the first cross-sectional area is greater than the second cross-sectional area. The hydrostatic pressure intensifier also includes a fluid flow restrictor that restricts fluid flow through the valve to control an amount of pressure applied by the first piston.

  • Patent number: 11022124
Abstract: A whole home water appliance system includes controller circuitry, a primary sump pump driven by an electric motor, and a secondary sump pump driven with a flow of water. The system also includes a water control actuator operable as a water main control device for a domestic water distribution network and a flow meter to measure the flow of municipal water supplied to the network. The controller circuitry selectively energizes the primary sump pump to extract liquid from a sump pit based on a liquid level in the sump pit. The secondary sump pump independently controlled by a hydraulic level sensor to extract liquid from the sump pit. The water control actuator controlled by the controller circuitry to shut off a municipal water supply to the domestic water distribution network in response to detection of a leak. Communication circuitry included in the whole home water appliance may wirelessly communicate.

  • Publication number: 20210131206
Abstract: The embodiments include float equipment assemblies and methods to isolate downhole strings. In one embodiment, a float equipment assembly includes an inner string that provides a fluid flow path through the float equipment assembly. The float equipment assembly also includes an opening through which a fluid flowing through the inner string exits the float equipment assembly. The float equipment assembly further includes a moveable member, which when repositioned, isolates the inner string. The float equipment assembly further includes a dissolvable material that initially prevents repositioning of the moveable member, where the moveable member is repositioned after a threshold portion of the dissolvable material has dissolved.

  • Patent number: 10977029
Abstract: Data structures are stored in an endpoint data store. Each data structure represents an endpoint having one or more components, each component having one or more arbitrary properties. Multiple groups of endpoints are identified by name and defined by group criteria expressed in terms of the one or more arbitrary properties of the one or more components of the endpoints that are members of the group. For each group, the group criteria of the group is stored in a data store in association with the name of the group. Packages and releases may be targeted to endpoints in various manners.

  • Publication number: 20210077029
Abstract: Apparatus includes a mat having a surface which contacts with a support means and opposing surface located with respect to a part of a person so that at least one parameter of the person is monitored by sensor means with the mat. The sensor means are connected with processing means to allow data relating to the at least one parameter to be collected and processed to generate a value which is indicative of the parameter at the time of the data collection and hence an indication of the condition of the person. The mat includes a plurality of spaced apart sensor means locations to provide an accurate collection of data for different parts and zones relating to the patient on a real time basis and make this available to care givers for the person.

  • Publication number: 20190307227
Abstract: A fresh composition delivery system includes a package with two compartments separated by a foil seal for separating a cosmetically acceptable carrier from an unstable active ingredient. An elastomeric bulb with a dart can be actuated by the user to pierce the foil seal so that the carrier and the active can be mixed in the package to form a composition shortly before use. For the resulting mixed composition, the level of the unstable active ingredient in the composition decreases by less than 6% over 7 days when stored at 25° C. at 60% relative humidity.
