  • Publication number: 20170355057
Abstract: A knife storage system and method is disclosed. The system and method utilize a resealable tube with retractable end-caps to safely store a hunting knife that may be contaminated with blood residue from a game animal that has been field dressed. The end-caps are configured with grooved cylinders to safely restrain a hunting knife so as to prevent dulling of the knife edge while simultaneously providing a fluid seal to the resealable tube to prevent contamination of the tube exterior with blood or other animal residue. Removal of both end-caps permits the tube and end-caps to be cleaned of game residue. Incorporated within the end-caps are integrated knife sharpening inserts comprised of ceramic and tungsten carbide to allow the knife to be safely sharpened in the field.

  • Publication number: 20170317508
Abstract: An onboard charging system for an electric vehicle is configured to communicate with a power supply through exchange of control signals on a power supply line by modulating a charging current being supplied to the charging system. The charging system is capable of communicating fault and battery parameter data to the power supply, as well as a requested charging current used to regulate the power supply output. The power supply may convert high voltage AC power into a controllable DC output supplied directly to the electric vehicle, thereby providing a convenient means for the vehicle to initiate charging during operations. Connection between the electric vehicle and the power supply may be effected using an extendible and retractable electrical connection, such as a mechanical pantograph.

  • Publication number: 20170223414
Abstract: A system and method to filter content delivered to a device are disclosed. A birthdate for a user associated with a controlled device is received. Based on the birthdate, a present age of the user associated with the controlled device is determined. A request for content is received from the controlled device. An age rating associated with the content is compared to the present age of the user. The content is allowed to be delivered to the controlled device based on comparing the age rating to the present age of the user.

  • Publication number: 20170204535
Abstract: A cotton gin for use in a pneumatic cotton harvesting machine. The gin is located in the harvester downstream of the pneumatic picking heads. The gin receives seed bearing cotton balls on a front side of a fiber separation plate. Co-acting and oppositely rotating toothed fiber separation blades protrude through the separation plate and incrementally tear the cotton fiber free from the cotton ball leaving behind the seeds. The separated cotton fiber is, thereafter, drawn from the back or downstream side of the separation plate to a dust collector and then bailed in a dry condition in the harvester in the field. The separated seeds remain in the gin and fall downwardly, via gravity toward and into a seed collecting bin.

  • Publication number: 20170046149
Abstract: Transport information is to be used by an endpoint to obtain one or more packages comprised in a deployed release. The transport information is sent in a single message that identifies the deployed release and the one or more packages. The transport information may include allowed bearer settings and transport settings. Release parameters to be used by the endpoint in connection with the deployed release are determined and included in the single message. The message may include one of the packages as streamed inline content. The message may identify one of the packages via a network address of a file of that package. The message may identify one of the packages via an indication of where in local removable storage to find a file of that package, the local removable storage being local to the endpoint.
