  • Publication number: 20070113615
Abstract: A procedure for the calibration of the lambda measuring signal supplied by the wideband lambda sensor, which is disposed in the exhaust gas area of an internal combustion engine, and a device to implement the procedure are proposed. During the procedure, a correction value is used to ascertain a unit of measurement for the lambda actual value, whereby the correction value is ascertained during a specified operating state of the internal combustion engine, in which no fuel metering occurs and the engine rotational speed of the internal combustion engine lies above a threshold value. The correction value—is ascertained as a function of the sensor temperature of the wideband lambda sensor during a specified operating state.

  • Patent number: 7047122
Abstract: A method is described for determining the angle-of-rotation position (?) of a shaft of an internal combustion engine, in particular a crank angle (?) of a crankshaft, information at least about incremental angles of rotation (??) of the shaft and running times (T) for each incremental angle of rotation (??) being detected on the basis of signals which indicate the rotation of the shaft and are spaced with intervals between them, and stored at least temporarily the instantaneous angle-of-rotation position (?) being determined in the period of time between two signals by extrapolation of the angle-of-rotation position (?) thus detected, taking into account at least one angular velocity ({overscore (?)}) and/or change in angular velocity (?{overscore (?)}) extrapolated from the stored information. In addition, a corresponding device is also described.

  • Patent number: 6647595
Abstract: In order to detect and remove interfering particles, particularly trash particles, husk naps, seed remnants and the like, from textile fiber goods, a device on a carding machine, a cleaner or the like is provided across the width of the carding machine, cleaner or the like with at least one detection device, for example, a camera with an electronic evaluation device for the detection, and a downstream-connected separating device for removing the particles. A plurality of guide elements are provided across the width, which can selectively deflect the fiber goods regions containing the interfering particles to improve the effect of the separating device in a simple manner.

  • Patent number: 6568039
Abstract: A coiler plate is provided for sliver coil depositing. The coiler plate has a rotational axis, a spatially curved sliver channel having a wall, an inside wall surface, a sliver inlet, a sliver outlet, and a plurality of air inlets in the sliver channel wall for introducing air into the sliver channel. The sliver inlet is arranged substantially coaxial with the rotational axis, and the sliver outlet is arranged at a radial distance and an axial distance from the sliver inlet. The sliver is subject to a tensioning draft, and the air introduced into the sliver channel is for acting on the sliver to reduce a frictional force between the sliver and the inside wall surface of the sliver channel.
