Abstract: An improved drop hitch apparatus has at least one hitch plate for coupling to a portion of a hitch assembly of a trailer, a support assembly for supporting the hitch assemblies of a trailer and a towing vehicle, and a mounting assembly for mounting the apparatus to at least a portion of a hitch assembly of a towing vehicle. The drop hitch apparatus is useful as a height adjustment adapter to couple a trailer and a towing vehicle when the trailer has a hitch assembly lower than that of the towing vehicle's hitch assembly. The mounting assembly has a mounting shelf, a mounting bar, a stability member. The support assembly has an upstanding support plate and an upstanding shaft member.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for authenticating a user account with a content management system are disclosed. A synchronized content management system may receive an identifier via a first access platform. The identifier may be associated with a device. The content management system can generate a link based on the identifier and the device. The link may be then send to the device by using the identifier. When accessed by the device, the link may authenticate a user account associated with the device at a second access platform.

Abstract: A system and apparatus which permits an existing communication device, such as a common smart phone, to have satellite communication capabilities. The apparatus can include a transmitter/receiver which can relay communications and data, between the existing communications device and a satellite network. Optionally, the data can be encrypted before being sent over the satellite network. Optionally, the transmitter/receiver can have a distress activation input which can automatically emit an SOS signal along with the transmitter/receiver's current GPS coordinates when a user activates the input.

Abstract: An implantable neurostimulation lead comprises a lead body having a distal end and a proximal end, and a lumen extending along a longitudinal axis between the distal and proximal ends. Multiple electrodes are provided proximate to the distal end of the lead body. The electrodes are configured to at least one of deliver stimulating pulses and sense electrical activity. A multi-layer coil is wound about the lumen and extends at least partially along a length of the lead body. The multi-layer coil includes a first winding formed with multiple winding turn segments wound about the lumen in a first direction about the longitudinal axis. The multilayer coil includes a second winding formed with multiple winding turn segments wound about the first winding in an opposite second direction about the longitudinal axis.

The system may identify that a client-side application for the content management system has been installed on the client device and that the client-side application is already logged into a user account with the content management system. The system can cause the web browser to open a local host connection to the client-side application such that the web browser may be able to obtain from the client application some user account identifying information for the user account. The system can then cause the web browser to log into the user account by using the user account identifying information.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology enable users to sign in to an account without a password. For example, when receiving a request to register a device with an account, a user can be prompted to enter their email address. In response, two tokens are generated. A first token is sent to the a client application on the device and the second token is sent to the user's email. The user can then only login to their account with the device if the device has both tokens. Thus, if someone intercepts the email, they will be unable to login from another device since they don't have the first token. If the client token and email token cannot be automatically joined on the same device, a web page showing a code can be displayed on a first device, which can be entered on the second device to finish login process.

Abstract: A system and method for booking peer-to-peer asset transactions, dynamically assessing risk associated with the transactions, and generating custom insurance policies for the transactions. A risk profile is created for the asset, an owner of the asset, and a potential renter of the asset based on data about the asset, data about the owner, and data about the potential renter, respectively. A risk analysis is performed based the risk profiles of the asset, asset owner, and potential renter, and other information, such as a duration and a location associated with the transaction. This risk analysis is used to provide an insurance premium for the transaction and generate a custom insurance policy when the transaction is booked. Payment may also be taken to complete the transaction.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus and method for reverse shoulder arthroplasty (e.g., reverse total shoulder arthroplasty). In one specific example, a glenoid component used to resurface the scapula may be provided. Of note, unlike traditional total shoulder arthroplasty the glenoid component in a reverse shoulder is convex rather than concave; it acts as a physical stop to prevent the superior migration of the humeral head—a typical occurrence in patients suffering from rotator cuff tear arthropathy (CTA).

The wireless charging system also includes a coil driver electrically coupled to the primary inductive coil and configured to adjust an output signal of the primary inductive coil. The wireless charging system further includes a receiver configured to receive an input signal from the portable electronic device, and a controller communicatively coupled to the receiver and to the coil driver. The controller is configured to establish a wireless charging protocol based on the input signal, and to automatically regulate the output signal based on the established wireless charging protocol and the input signal.

Abstract: A multifunction target actuator allows a bullet target to be selectively presented to a shooter such that a first side may be presented, a second side opposite the first side may be presented, and the target may be oriented so as not to be presented to the shooter. The actuator allows for quick and accurate movement of the target.
