  • Publication number: 20230406541
Abstract: An aircraft cabin dismantling and recycling system including: a device (10) for transferring aircraft cabin parts to secondary utilization is provided that includes a data input (12), a data processor (14) and an output interface (16). The data input provides cabin base types from a database and initial equipment installation states of the aircraft cabin from an installation state database. The data processor is configured to identify a cabin base type for a current part of the aircraft cabin; assign an initial equipment installation state of the aircraft cabin; estimate changes of the current part and determine a current parameter; identify implementable transferring options for the current part of the aircraft cabin from a database of transferring options based on the current parameter, and select one of the identified transferring options.

  • Patent number: 10202699
Abstract: Fuel cell systems aboard means of transport can be used for generating energy and for producing water. In order to reduce the overall weight of the system, the fuel cell is controlled or regulated in dependence on a current fill level or a limit level of the water tank, as well as a predicted future water consumption. In this way, it may be possible to minimize the water quantity to be stored in the water tank.

  • Patent number: 8858878
Abstract: A water system for a vehicle is provided. The water system comprises at least one water supply source, at least one water-conducting device, at least one closing valve and at least one germ reduction connection. The germ reduction connection and the water supply source are connected to the water-conducting device. The germ reduction connection is designed to introduce a germ-reducing fluid into the water-conducting device. The closing valve is arranged between the water supply source and the germ reduction connection and is designed to be fully closed thus preventing the ingress of germ-reducing fluid into the water supply source. By means of such a water system it is possible to carry out sterilization or disinfection very easily and quickly without this requiring any major maintenance work.

  • Publication number: 20140076824
Abstract: An arrangement for generating and treating water is provided. The arrangement includes a fuel cell with a water-generating system, a salination unit for the salination of water, a state measuring device for acquiring an operating state of the salination unit, a water-receiving reservoir for receiving water, a water-quality measuring device for measuring the water quality of the water whose salt content has been increased, and a control unit. The salination unit is designed to add a basic salt to water so that apart from the salt content, an excessively acidic pH-value of the dispensed water is increased and stabilized. To this effect the control unit is connected to the water-quality measuring device and to the state measuring device and is designed, for setting a predetermined water quality, to control the salination unit depending on the operating state of the salination unit and on the measured water quality.
