Abstract: Systems and methods for authentication using paired dynamic secrets in secured wireless networks are provided. Each authenticated user is assigned a random secret generated so as to be unique to the user. The secret is associated with a wireless interface belonging to the user, so that no other wireless interface may use the same secret to access the network. The secret may be updated either periodically or at the request of a network administrator, and reauthentication of the wireless network may be required.

Abstract: A polarized light illumination device is described, which includes a light source, a polarizer, a reflector, and a polarized light converter. The light source generates light. The reflector is used for reflecting light generated by the light source towards the polarizer. The polarizer allows a first polarized light to pass through, and reflects a second polarized light. The polarized light converter reflects the light irradiated on the polarized light converter and performs a polarization conversion. A plane where the polarized light converter is located is substantially perpendicular to the polarizer.

Abstract: Systems and methods for provisioned configuration of wireless devices to allow access to restricted wireless networks are provided. Using an open wireless or wired network, a user of a wireless device may be authenticated. A configuration application, which includes the parameters and policies of the provisioned configuration, is generated, transferred to, and executed on the wireless device. Following configuration by the application, the wireless device is allowed to access the restricted wireless network within the parameters and policies of the provisioned configuration.

Abstract: A light-beam generator and a projecting system having the light-beam generator are proposed in the present invention. The light-beam generator includes an optical element and a light-emitting diode, wherein the optical element further includes a non-spherical reflecting curved surface which at least has a focus. Also, the light-emitting diode is located at the focus of the optical element for emitting light to the reflecting curved surface to form a light beam which is guided in a specific direction. By such arrangement, an output efficiency of light beams can be improved and a heat dissipation requirement can be reduced. Additionally, the light-beam generator proposed in the present invention can be applied to a projecting system having illuminant with specific polarized directions, so as to eliminate various prior-art drawbacks.

Abstract: Initiating a virtual presence at a physical access point in response to a request for a service from a wireless access device is provided. A particular wireless service may be provided to a subscriber on an on-demand basis according to location and/or type of service requested. The service may be terminated when demand for the service comes to an end whereby a common wireless service infrastructure may be shared amongst service providers thus eliminating the need for radio channel coordination and otherwise enhancing service quality for those service providers.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a heat-dissipating device comprising a sheet formed thereon with a plurality of first parts and a plurality of second parts, wherein any one of said second part is disposed between any two of said first parts, and the junction therebetween is bent with an angle enabling the ends of two adjacent first parts distal to the second part to be connected with each other. As a result, the second parts form corresponding parallel plates respectively on each side of a heat-dissipating device for being placed on a heat-source to dissipate heat transmitted therefrom, and the first parts act as the supporting plates for supporting the parallel plates.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a heat sink combining assembly, which comprises a plurality of metallic heat dispersing fins and a fixing bar, wherein each metal heat dispersing fin at its top surface has a groove, and a securing hole is disposed in the groove for connecting the metallic heat dispersing fins to constitute an accommodating channel. Each fixing bar is installed in each accommodating channel, and the embedding section at the top of the connected structure is used to latch into each securing hole in the same row. Such arrangement can assemble the metallic heat dispersing fins to form a heat sink assembly quickly.

Abstract: A lock core mechanism with alarm function in the invention comprises a lock core body having a core plate disposed therein, a projecting rod, a core cover-plate, a housing, an electric circuit plate, a follower member, and an actuating elastic assembly having a contact member and an elastic member. The electric circuit plate will sound when a picking tool is inserted to push the projecting rod downwards to touch against an actuating piece of the electric circuit plate, or when a special tool is inserted to forcedly rotate the follower member to make the elastic member touch against the contact member. The electric circuit plate will not be activated to sound for alarm only when a matching key is inserted to push the projection rod downwards to touch against the actuating piece, and simultaneously turned to rotate the follower member to make the elastic member touch against the contact member.

Abstract: A motorcycle disc brake lock includes a lock body, a rotary base, a deadbolt, a locking card, a coil spring, a lock column and a twist spring. In using, a key is applied to turn around the rotary member of the lock column to actuate the rotary base rotate. The engage members of the locking card are guided and actuated to move up and get into the engage recesses of the rotary base by the sloped surfaces of the two prop projections in the chamber of the lock body. Thus, the deadbolt is moved upward, forming an unlocked condition. For locking, only insert the disc brake of a motorcycle into the deep opening of the lock body to slightly push up the deadbolt and force the locking card to move into the slide slots of the rotary base. Thus, the deadbolt is pushed down to have its bottom end inserted in a lock hole to lock the disc brake.

Abstract: An automobile steering wheel lock with alarm function in the invention has a locking means combined in a lock housing of a lock body and comprising a sleeve, several core plates, two actuating rods, a driving member, a shell, a moving member and an alarm device having a circuit plate connecting a buzzer plate with electric cords and two actuating pieces corresponding to the actuating rods. The actuating rods can pass through the core plates and the driving member having an axle rod fixed with the circuit plate and an end inserted in the moving member. The alarm device will sound when a tool is inserted to push one of the actuating rods to contact with one of the actuating pieces, but not sound when a matching key is inserted to match with the core plates to make both actuating rods contact with or withdraw from the actuating pieces simultaneously.

The engage member has an elongate insert groove to cover on a portion of the steering wheel of an automobile. The body is rotated with a rotatable member as a pivot until the bottom of the body rests on the portion of the steering wheel. Then an insert plate of the engage member fits in the engage groove of the body, and an insert member of the locking deadbolt is moved to protrude in the insert opening of the rotatable member of the engage member, with the end of the elongate rod of the body resting on the gauge panel of an automobile, preventing the stirring wheel from rotated for any angle, preventing the automobile from stolen.

In handling, place the bottom base under a pedal brake, and then pull up the telescopic rod to permit its stop member to restrict and hold against the pedal brake tightly so as to acquire effectiveness of antitheft.
