Abstract: A locking means housing for an elongate automobile steering wheel locking rod includes a circular tubular body for containing a locking means and a connector firmly welded with one side of the circular tubular body. The connector is made of a flat metal plate cut to a proper size and shape and then bent into a case shape to have a hollow space. The connector is hardened by a special treatment and may be made to suit the size of any elongate automobile steering wheel locking rod without requiring a mold and, resisting external breaking force and air corrosion after being hardened, thus enhancing the anti-theft effect.

Abstract: The steering wheel of an automobile is locked against unauthorized use by a pair of half housings that are secured together by a deadbolt which may be actuated by a remotely controlled electronic alarm and motor.

Abstract: An anti-theft device with a sound warning device for attachment to the steering wheel of an automobile comprising a sound warning device deposited in an inner cavity in an elongate rod of the steering lock, the sound warning device consisting of a case, an electronic circuit board contained in the case and having electronic components to send out a signal to a sound system of the automobile to give out a warning sound in case the body or the steering wheel should be touched by a would-be burglar, and a cover closing on the case in the cavity in the rod.

Abstract: An improvement in the configuration of automobile steering wheel locking devices. The automobile steering wheel locking device pertaining to the present invention principally consists of components, which include a main body, stopping bar, lock, casing, hook, spring and holding shaft. A cross bar at the rear of the lock's turning piece rests on a groove at the front of the casing. Turning of the lock's turning piece causes the cross bar to push back the casing and compresses the spring, thereby releasing the hook quickly and allowing the locking device to be removed from the steering wheel. The locking device can be locked on quickly around the steering wheel by pushing the hook upward, thereby causing a grip slot on the inner side of the hook to grip onto an opening on the lower side of the casing. The locking operation is therefore automatic.

Abstract: An anti-theft device for attachment of a steering wheel comprising an elongate plate member having a lateral opening for a portion of a steering wheel to fit therein and covered immovable by a swingable cap pivotally connected with the plate member and the plate member lying on an upper surface of a gauge panel of an automobile to keep a steering wheel unrotatable, the swingable cap having a vertical rod with grooves to selectably engage with a locating bolt to keep the cap unswingable so as to prevent the device from being taken off the wheel, the locating bolt being in a locked position by an actuator of a lock engaging the locating bolt.

Abstract: An improvement in the configuration of automobile steering wheel locking devices. The automobile steering wheel locking device principally consists of components, which include a main body, grip piece, stopping bar, lock, gib, holding shaft, spring, positioning pin and a cover. The main body and grip piece are wrapped tightly around the steering wheel by the semi-circular grip sections on the lower parts of the main body and grip piece forming a circular arc-shaped housing. In addition, the stopping bar at the rear of the main body is employed and confined to the corner against the windshield in front of the dashboard, thereby preventing the steering wheel from being turned and achieving optimum anti-theft effects.

Abstract: An antitheft device for attachment to a steering wheel of an automobile comprising a trough member defining a trough with an open top for engaging from under a section of the steering wheel, a handle secured to a shaft and rotatable between a locking position with the handle extending radially outwardly across the open top of the trough and an unlocking position with the handle removed from the trough and a lock mechanism associated with the trough member to lock the handle in the locking position.

Abstract: An automobile three-stage steering lock comprising an elongated body member, an elongated tube member adapted to move in telescopic way in the body member, an elongated rod member adapted to move in telescopic way in the tube member, three hooks, each of which is provided in the body member, the tube member and the rod member for engaging a steering wheel and the edge of a windshield, and a locking mechanism associated with the body member allowing the tube member and the rod member to extend with respect to the body member and be locked at any of a plurality of positions.
