    Abstract: An energy-saving auto feed shredder which includes an operable cover as configured in a conventional auto feed shredder, with a pressing device configured on the cover. Once the cover is open, other components are exposed, such as a feeder base or compartment to place the stack of paper, a feeder slot in the middle of the feeder base or compartment, feeding mechanisms on both sides of the feeder slot, and a shredder mechanism below the feeder slot; when the cover is closed, the pressing device applies a pressure on the stack of paper inside the feeder base, and the feeding mechanisms in relative motion on both sides of the feeder slot captures and pulls the sheet at the bottom of the stack of paper under pressure, and force it to fold toward the feeder slot, and be delivered to the shredder mechanism. Repeatedly, new sheet of paper is captured, pulled, folded and delivered by the feeding mechanism, until the whole stack of paper is shredded.

When the package is inserted into an operating paper shredder, the coversheets are shredded and release the lubricant to lubricate the shredding mechanism. The lubricant is prevented from all migrating towards one of the peripheral edges by a plurality of interior seals that divide the package into several sub-regions.

    Abstract: A blade assembly for paper shredder consists of a first blade and a second blade combined back to back. Each blade has a circular blade flank formed by punching a thin sheet metal. The blade flank has a hole at its center and integrally extends outwards with at least two cutting edges. Each cutting edge has a base portion extended from the blade flank outwards and on the same plane as the blade flank, a surface portion bent from the base portion to the back of the blade flank and perpendicular to the blade flank, and a tip portion formed between the base portion and the surface portion. The blade flank is integrally formed with several ribs protruding towards the blade flank. A portion of the rib is formed beneath the tip to support the cutting edge and to enhance its strength.

The two jackets are then formed with a first seal sealed around their peripheries to form a lubricating pack having a laminating construction. The lubricating pack is fed into the paper shredder through a paper inlet to the paper shredder under auto mode to be shredded by the paper shredder. Accordingly, the cutting blades of the paper shredder would be able to contact the lubricant contained in the oiled paper during the process of shredding the lubricating pack, so as to provide lubrication between cutting blades of the paper shredder thereby extending the lifespan of the paper shredder.

    Abstract: A swinging device for increasing the capacity of a trash bin includes a pushing assembly penetrating through the shredder body, a stirring board disposed at the bottom of the shredder body, and a shaft connecting the pushing assembly and the stirring board. The shaft converts the vertical displacement motion of the pushing assembly into a swinging motion of the stirring board. The shredded paper chips which typically form in a mound are thus pushed to the side and flattened. This helps reduce the space occupied by paper chips and increases the capacity of the trash bin, thus leading to less frequent emptying of the bin.
