Publication number: 20080164349Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a shutoff mechanism for shredders. The shredder has a shutoff button coupled to the on/off switch whereby activation of the shutoff button results in the on/off switch switching to the off position thereby shutting off power to the shredder. The shredder can also be turned off by the conventional means of sliding the on/off switch from the on to the off position.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 29, 2007Publication date: July 10, 2008Inventor: Tie Chun Wang

Publication number: 20080149748Abstract: An auxiliary device with the multi-direction adjusting function for the shredder is disclosed to adjust the entry angle of the shredder opening and the operation height/direction thereof. The auxiliary device comprises a bottom plate, a frame, a height/direction adjusting device for connecting the bottom plate and the frame, and an opening angle adjusting device disposed in the vicinity of the upper portion of the frame. In practice, the shredder and the trash bin thereof are disposed on the auxiliary device, so that the shredder and the opening angle adjusting device are connected for adjusting to a best entry angle. The height/direction adjusting device can change the distance between the bottom plate and the frame to obtain a best operation height for the shredder.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 4, 2007Publication date: June 26, 2008Applicant: Michilin Prosperity Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tie Chun Wang

Patent number: 7387270Abstract: A lubricating pack specifically designed for paper shredders, including a piece of oiled paper saturated with lubricant placed between two jackets that are each provided at an inner layer thereof with an oil-seepage-proof film. The two jackets are then formed with a first seal sealed around their peripheries to form a lubricating pack having a laminating construction. The lubricating pack is fed into the paper shredder through a paper inlet to the paper shredder under auto mode to be shredded by the paper shredder. Accordingly, the cutting blades of the paper shredder would be able to contact the lubricant contained in the oiled paper during the process of shredding the lubricating pack, so as to provide lubrication between cutting blades of the paper shredder thereby extending the lifespan of the paper shredder.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2005Date of Patent: June 17, 2008Assignee: Michilin Prosperity Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tie Chun Wang

Publication number: 20080135655Abstract: The present invention relates generally to shutoff mechanisms for shredders. If an object of sufficient size or weight is inserted into a shredder, a panel on the shredder will move thus triggering a motion detection system. The motion detection system uses induction to gauge movement of the panel. When movement of the panel occurs through insertion of inappropriate objects, the power to the shredder is automatically turned off.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2006Publication date: June 12, 2008Inventors: Tie Chun Wang, William Huang

Publication number: 20080115647Abstract: The present invention relates generally to cutting blades for shredders. Specifically, this invention teaches cutting blades and a rotary cutting assembly which reduce the power needed to shred paper, plastic, and other forms of media that hold information. This is accomplished by creating a cutting blade with at least three adjacent teeth. The formation of three or more adjacent teeth more readily tears through paper and other media thus reducing the amount of power necessary to drive a shredder.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2006Publication date: May 22, 2008Inventor: Tie Chun Wang

Publication number: 20080061061Abstract: The invention provides a snap down lock and a release valve control mechanism for a vacuum food container. The vacuum food container includes a cover and a base in tight connection with the cover to form a box for storing food. A snap down lock is provided between the cover and the base. The snap down lock depresses a plug and a spring inside a U-shaped recess on the base using a corner of its square block, blocking its vent. At the same time, the snap down lock depresses a retractable spring switch provided on the base, starting a motor vacuum pump to draw out the air inside the box. Once the square block corner of the snap down lock departs from its depressing position and releases its depression on the plug and the spring, the restoring force of the spring pushes the plug out of the sealing position on the vent. The box is then in connection with the atmosphere via the vent.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 7, 2007Publication date: March 13, 2008Applicant: Michilin Prosperity Co., Ltd.Inventor: Tie Chun Wang
