Abstract: The proposed holder for a hairdryer comprises a material strip (2) at the one, lower end of which a receiving bag (3) for the hairdryer is formed or fastened and at the other, upper end of which is situated a loop (4) through which a strap (5) or a belt (5) can be pulled to fasten the holder (1) to a user's body. The holder, together with the hairdryer, can be worn always ready to hand on the user's body over any desired clothing and is particularly suitable for use in the hairdressing trade.
