HOLDER FOR A HAIRDRYER

The proposed holder for a hairdryer comprises a material strip (2) at the one, lower end of which a receiving bag (3) for the hairdryer is formed or fastened and at the other, upper end of which is situated a loop (4) through which a strap (5) or a belt (5) can be pulled to fasten the holder (1) to a user's body. The holder, together with the hairdryer, can be worn always ready to hand on the user's body over any desired clothing and is particularly suitable for use in the hairdressing trade.

Description

The invention relates to a holder for a hair dryer, which is worn on the user's body. Known holders or holders for hair dryers or hair dryers largely relate to fixed brackets which are mounted on a wall or can be movable placed on a shelf. According to DE 20 2006 000 196 U1 there is a holder for a hairdryer of a helically bent wire for receiving the hair dryer, wherein both ends of the wire are connected with a fastening means, by means of which the holder can be fixed to a wall. For the use of the hair dryer it is removed from the holder and moved by hand in a known manner with respect to the hair to be dried.

According to DE 1 587 200 U1 there is a holder for a hair dryer of a tubular receiving part for the hair dryer, which merges into an angled attachment part with which the holder can be fixed to a wall. In this case, the hair dryer is removed for use from the holder and moved by hand, which can be tiresome or even exhausting for the hand or the wrist.

The holder of a hairdryer according to DE 295 11 125 allows the user's hand to be spared and relieved. The holder consists of a tube-shaped receiving part of the hair dryer at the one end side, and a suction cup is provided with the receiving part which can be attached at any height on a wall, preferably a tiled bathroom wall. At the other end of the tubular receiving part a hook is formed, which allows the holder to also be on a pole, for example, where a shower curtain can be suspended. The conventionally shaped hairdryer is fitted with its handle into the tubular receiving part and can it be rotated to change the direction of the warm air stream, so that the user only needs to move his head in the air stream, while both hands are free or hands or wrists are relieved.

From CH 382 385, a holder for a hair dryer is known which consists of a foot and the U-shaped plug-in device pivotally connected to the foot of the hairdryer. The holder can be placed by the foot on a supporting surface, and by turning the inserter at the foot of the direction, the hot jet of air of the inserter as described, can be changed in a sensitive hair dryer.

A disadvantage of these known holders is that they are localized, and so are not always at hand for the user. Especially in hairstyling, there is a desire to always have a hairdryer at hand while working without having to remove it further away and bring it back, while also constantly having to cover small paths in the course of a working day, which can add time in a significant way.

According to DE 20 2009 009 713 U1, an annular holder for a hairdryer is laterally connected to a terminal at which the holder can be hooked to the belt or waistband of the user, or another suitable garment. This ensures that the hair dryer is ready at hand to the body, it can be worn on the user's clothing, such that the hairdryer can be removed at any time from the holder with one hand and again placed back in it, without the user having to move long ways to take the hairdryer and store it again. The disadvantage is that this holder is bound to a particular clothing of the user. Many hairdressing workers are female, and they do not always wear clothes with waistbands and should not be forced to wear such clothes in order to do their job effectively and without complications. In addition, this type of a holder with a purely annular holder is not very stable; a hairdryer inserted in the ring constantly swings due to its weight, and due to the user, even when the hairdryer is unused in the holder, movements during work are transferred to the holder and the hairdryer, where it finds no real support. Therefore also the connection between the annular holder and the terminal is constantly worn, so that they are damaged and may eventually break.

The object of the present invention is to provide an appropriate holder for hairdryers, particularly for workers in the hairstyling industry, which can be worn on the body at hand, but is not tied to a particular piece of clothing. Holder and hairdryer should be able to assume as stable position as possible and not fall into disruptive movement due to their weight or by movements that must inevitably occur during the work of the user.

In the invention we have achieved this with a holder for a hairdryer according to Claim 1.

According to the invention at one, a lower end of a strip of material, a receiving bag, designed for a hairdryer, is fixed and on the other, an upper end of the strip of material or the holder there is a loop through which to attach the holder to the body of a user through a drawn band or belt. So holders and hairdryers can always be worn at hand to the user's body, over any clothing. The user is spared repeatedly from retrieving a hairdryer from a stationary holder on a wall or on a shelf and returning.

The width of the entire strip of material is selected so that the back of the receiving bag is formed by a part or a portion of the strip of material, so that the holder with hairdryer is in a stable position on the body and is not prone to disturbing oscillations due to its weight or as a result of movements that must be performed during work. The loop at the upper end of the holder can be formed by the upper end of the material strip, and is reduced to a corresponding measure on the strip of material itself to a desired size of the loop and secured to the strip of material.

The folded-back, upper end of the material strip can be mounted in different ways on the strip of material; the attachment may be achieved, for example, by gluing, or stapling. If a releasable connection of the folded-back upper end of the strip of material is desired at the strip of material, this can be achieved, for example, by means of snap fasteners or pressure strip on the principle of tongue and groove. The invention is described in more detail below with reference to the appended drawings.

The single FIGURE shows a view of an inventive holder for hair dryers.

The holder 1 of the invention is a material strip 2, the bottom being a collection bag 3 formed or mounted for a hair dryer, the rear wall is formed by a part of the strip of material 2. The width of the material strip 2 is accordingly selected. The shape of the receiving bag 3 can be preferably adapted to the shape of a hair dryer, for example, be funnel-shaped. At the other, the upper end of the material strip 2 a loop 4 is formed, a band 5 or a belt 5 can be pulled through with which the holder 1 is secured but can also be released from the body and on any clothing of a user at any time. The loop 4 can be advantageously and easily prepared by the material strip 2 itself to a desired size of the loop 4 to a corresponding measure on the upper end 6 of the material strip 2 through such known means as, for example, being fixed by gluing or stapling.

If a releasable attachment is desired, this can be manufactured by press studs or pressure or Velcro strips according to the principle of tongue and groove.

The band 5 or belt 5 of the holder 1 can be conveniently placed on a user's body over any clothing. Since the width of the material strip 2 is adjusted to the size of the hair dryer, and the back of the receiving bag 3 is formed of a part or section of the material strip 2, the hair dryer takes a good hold in the collection bag 3 and tends not to be disruptive to movement because of its weight or as a result of movements that have to do with a user's work, for example, by swinging.
