The call includes a body, a mouth piece, a core piece disposed within at least one of the body and the mouth piece, a first opening in the mouth piece to accept incoming air, an opening in the core to divert a portion of the incoming air, and the core piece and the body are shaped to create an air path way such that air traveling through the path way produces a nasal sound without use of a reed. The nasal sound preferably is a snort wheeze sound associated with a Whitetail Buck.
