  • Publication number: 20160158496
Abstract: A steering handle for a catheter. The steering handle includes a thumb knob arrangement for driving a cam assembly that in turn actuates a pull wire or pull wires. In some embodiments, the cam assembly includes a set of dual pins that actuate the pull wire in a quasi-linear relationship between cam rotation and axial displacement of the wire. In certain embodiments, the second set of dual pins imparts a reverse action on a second pull wire, also in quasi-linear fashion. That is, when one wire is released by the cam assembly, the other wire is taken in by the cam assembly. In various embodiments, the quasi-linear action can cause release of more pull wire than is taken in, thereby helping prevent the released pull wire to act as an unwanted counter force to the actuated pull wire.

  • Patent number: 8392777
Abstract: Failure and repair information collected during self-testing of arrays in an integrated circuit is stored in a centralized array in the integrated circuit. In that way, a centralized array can be read out to provide failure and repair information on the arrays in the integrated circuit rather than having to read from each array. In addition, the failure and repair information may also be stored in the array under test for certain of the arrays.

  • Patent number: 8117498
Abstract: A processor core includes one or more cache memories and a repair unit. The repair unit may repair locations in the cache memories identified as having errors during an initialization sequence. The repair unit may further cause information corresponding to the repair locations to be stored within one or more storages. In response to initiation of a power-down state of a given processor core, the given processor core may execute microcode instructions that cause the information from the one or more storages to be saved to a memory unit. During a recovery of the given processor core from the power-down state, the processor core may execute additional microcode instructions that cause the information to be retrieved from the memory unit, and saved to the one or more storages. The repair unit may restore repairs to the locations in the cache memories using the information.

  • Patent number: 8103924
Abstract: A processor having a pipelined test access mechanism (TAM). The processor includes a plurality of processor cores. Each of the processor cores includes a scan chain including plurality of serially-coupled scan elements. The processor further includes the pipelined TAM, which includes a plurality of pipeline stages each corresponding to one of the plurality of processor cores. The pipelined TAM includes a command channel, a scan data input (SDI) channel, a scan data output (SDO) channel, and a compare channel. Each pipeline stage is operable to convey commands to its corresponding processor core via the command channel, to convey scan input data to its corresponding processor core via the SDI channel, to receive scan output data conveyed from the corresponding processor core to the SDO channel and the compare channel, and convey compare data downstream via the compare channel, wherein the compare data is based on the scan output data.

  • Patent number: 7846153
Abstract: In some embodiments, without limitation, the invention comprises a catheter having an elongated housing with a channel disposed therein. A laser delivery member is movable and at least partially disposed within the channel. A ramp is disposed within the housing at an angle to its central axis and proximate to its distal end. The ramp is adapted to move the distal end of the laser delivery member outwardly from the central axis of the housing. A guidewire biases the distal end of the laser delivery member generally inwardly toward the central axis of the housing. In some embodiments, without limitation, the offset of the central axis of the tip of the laser delivery member from the central axis of the housing is determined by adjusting the extent to which the laser delivery member travels on the ramp, and disposition of the laser delivery member on the guidewire maintains the offset tip substantially parallel to the central axis of the housing.

  • Patent number: 7793121
Abstract: In one aspect, a method is provided for operating a charging display system that is capable of wirelessly charging a rechargeable device positioned on a connector-less charging surface. In accordance with the method, the presence of a chargeable device on the charging surface is detected and the type of the chargeable device is identified. A set of interaction options based upon the identity of the chargeable device with the set, including a charging interaction option, is determined and, a displayable output signal based upon the determined set interaction options is generated. The set of interaction options is initiated based upon the detected presence of the chargeable device on the charging surface and the identified device type and, the output signal is presented on a display of the charging device.

  • Publication number: 20100179588
Abstract: A guide sheath for use in guiding a vascular puncture closure device to and in registry with a vascular puncture includes a stabilization system having retention wires deployable from the sheath and engageable with the vessel wall. The retention wires pierce the vessel wall at spaced locations, proximally and distally, about the puncture and form anchors to retain the sheath in registry with the puncture.

  • Patent number: 7665002
Abstract: A single test access port, such as a JTAG-based debug port may be utilized to perform debug operations on logic cores of a multi-core integrated circuit, such as a multi-core processor. The shared debug port may respond to a particular command to enter a debugging mode and may be configured to forward all commands and data to a debugging controller of the integrated circuit during debugging. A mask register may be used to indicate which logic cores of the multi-core integrated circuit should be debugged. Additionally, custom debugging commands may include mask or core select fields to indicate which logic cores should be affected by the particular command. Debugging mode may be initialized for one or more logic cores either externally, such as be asserted a DBREQ signal, or internally, such as by configuring one or more breakpoints.
