  • Publication number: 20090198221
Abstract: In some embodiments, without limitation, the invention comprises a catheter having an elongated housing with a channel disposed therein. A laser delivery member is movable and at least partially disposed within the channel. A ramp is disposed within the housing at an angle to its central axis and proximate to its distal end. The ramp is adapted to move the distal end of the laser delivery member outwardly from the central axis of the housing. A guidewire biases the distal end of the laser delivery member generally inwardly toward the central axis of the housing. In some embodiments, without limitation, the offset of the central axis of the tip of the laser delivery member from the central axis of the housing is determined by adjusting the extent to which the laser delivery member travels on the ramp, and disposition of the laser delivery member on the guidewire maintains the offset tip substantially parallel to the central axis of the housing.

Each of the processor cores includes a scan chain including plurality of serially-coupled scan elements. The processor further includes the pipelined TAM, which includes a plurality of pipeline stages each corresponding to one of the plurality of processor cores. The pipelined TAM includes a command channel, a scan data input (SDI) channel, a scan data output (SDO) channel, and a compare channel. Each pipeline stage is operable to convey commands to its corresponding processor core via the command channel, to convey scan input data to its corresponding processor core via the SDI channel, to receive scan output data conveyed from the corresponding processor core to the SDO channel and the compare channel, and convey compare data downstream via the compare channel, wherein the compare data is based on the scan output data.

  • Publication number: 20080211458
Abstract: In one aspect, a method is provided for operating a charging display system that is capable of wirelessly charging a rechargeable device positioned on a connector-less charging surface. In accordance with the method, the presence of a chargeable device on the charging surface is detected and the type of the chargeable device is identified. A set of interaction options based upon the identity of the chargeable device with the set, including a charging interaction option, is determined and, a displayable output signal based upon the determined set interaction options is generated. The set of interaction options is initiated based upon the detected presence of the chargeable device on the charging surface and the identified device type and, the output signal is presented on a display of the charging device.

  • Patent number: 7018360
Abstract: A device for delivering fluid, such as insulin for example, to a patient. The device includes a flow path having an exit port assembly adapted to connect to a transcutaneous patient access tool, and a reservoir connected to the exit port assembly. The device also includes a flow restriction system having an air removal filter communicating with the flow path and allowing air to exit the flow path and preventing fluid from exiting the flow path, and a flow restrictor positioned within the flow path between the air removal filter and the exit port assembly. Among other features and advantages, the flow restriction system of the present invention allows the flow path of the fluid delivery device to be purged of air, or “primed” prior to operation, such that desired volumes of fluid can be accurately delivered by the device.

  • Patent number: 6953471
Abstract: A medical device for filtering embolic material. The device comprises a cannula having a lumen, the lumen communicating with a port at the distal end. A port is located on an outer surface of the cannula adjacent a distal region of the cannula, the port having a passage extending distally and communicating with a distal opening in the port. A filter is removably insertable through the passage of the port, the filter comprising a flexible tubular member, a flexible shaft extending through the tubular member, and an expansion frame mounted on the distal end of the shaft. A filter mesh attached to the expansion frame. The expansion frame may optionally include a cantilever beam to support the far end of the frame, and in certain cases the cantilever beam is flexible to avoid scraping the vessel wall during use. • Patent number: 6560740
Abstract: An apparatus and method are presented for programmable built-in self-test (BIST) and built-in self-repair (BISR) of an embedded memory (i.e., a memory formed with random logic upon a semiconductor substrate). A semiconductor device may include a memory unit, a BIST logic unit coupled to the memory unit, and a master test unit coupled to the BIST logic unit and the memory unit. The memory unit stores data input signals in response to a first set of address and control signals, and provides the stored data input signals as data output signals in response to a second set of address and control signals. The master test unit provides the memory test pattern to the BIST logic unit and generates the first and second sets of address and control signals.
