The shoe sole device comprises a body component that is configured in the shape of a conventional shoe sole. The body component would comprise a flexible metal or alloy component that is encompassed by a non-electrically conductive rubber or plastic component. The body component can also comprise a therapeutic foam cushion component that offers comfort and allows the user to build better posture while wearing footwear equipped with the device.

Foam is secured to the rigid substrate of a one of the compression elements. The patient's chest wall is aligned with the leading edge surface of the foam. The inner side of the breast is disposed proximate the lateral edge surface of the foam and the outer side of the breast is disposed proximate the outer lateral edge surface of the foam. A mid-plane is disposed between the inner and outer lateral edge surfaces of the foam. An interface connects a leading edge surface of the foam and compressive surfaces. A portion of the leading edge surface which is aligned with the mid-plane is incompletely compressed.

A cross-linking reagent is added and the mixture is stirred for 24 hours in room temperature, thereby forming cross-linked HA beads. A strain gauge is arranged in the recess for detecting a deformation of the third region from the load and for generating a strain gauge output signal proportional to the deformation of the third region. The load cell also includes a microcontroller arranged in the recess for receiving and processing the strain gauge output signal to produce a load cell output signal that represents the load on a load cell output cable. The microcontroller transforms the strain gauge output signal based on calibration parameters to produce the load cell output signal as a calibrated load cell output signal.

The user interface may be updated to reflect acceptance of a specific document by a carrier in response to input received via the user interface.
