    Abstract: A seal and wiper assembly covers the opening of a reservoir of buffer solution in a blood glucose level. A monitor. A replaceable test cap is designed for single use. As the test cap is installed, a clock starts to run. After a predetermined time, the clock disables the monitor. As the test cap is removed from the buffer, the assembly wipes the buffer from the glucose sensor.
