  • Patent number: 10809635
Abstract: A defect inspection method and a defect inspection system are provided. In the method, a plurality of candidate defect images are retrieved from inspection images obtained by at least one optical inspection tool performing hot scans on at least one wafer and a plurality of attributes are extracted from the inspection images. A random forest classifier including a plurality of decision trees for classifying the candidate defect images is created, wherein the decision trees are built with different subset of the attributes and the candidate defect images. A plurality of candidate defect images are retrieved from the optical inspection tool in runtime and applied to the decision trees, and classified into nuisance images and real defect images according to votes of the decision trees in which the nuisance images are filtered out. The real defect images with the votes over a confidence value are sampled for microscopic review.

  • Patent number: 10671526
Abstract: An electronic computing device, a method for adjusting the trigger mechanism of a garbage collection function, and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium thereof are provided. A storage unit of the electronic computing device stores a whitelist. The whitelist records a plurality of data sets, wherein each of the data sets has a name of an application and an offset value of the application. A processor of the electronic computing device executes a system program. The system program loads the whitelist into a memory during a initialization procedure. The system program detects that a specific application is triggered and retrieves the offset value of the specific application from the whitelist in the memory according to the name of the specific application. The system program forks a process to the specific application and updates a threshold of a garbage collection function according to the offset value.

  • Publication number: 20130265418
Abstract: An alarm chain based monitoring device includes an alarm chain module, which is in information connection with at least one photographing device and at least one display element in information connection with the photographing device. The alarm chain module includes a definition unit, a sensitivity unit, and an alarming unit. The photographing device generates an image that is then displayed by the display element. The definition unit generates an alarm chain that includes control nodes and can be curved in the image. The sensitivity unit defines detection sensitivity of the alarm chain. When an object moves across the alarm chain, the alarming unit issues at least one alarm message, whereby the curved alarm chain defined in the image allows the installation site not be subjected to constraint and reduces error triggering rate.

  • Patent number: 8208640
Abstract: An audio multi-standard detection apparatus is provided to pre-record a plurality of audio broadcasting format carrier bands. The detection apparatus includes: a carrier calculation unit and a switch controller. The carrier calculation unit is used for receiving an intermediate frequency signal and calculates the first carrier energy of the intermediate frequency signal in each of the frequency bands. From this first carrier energy, the switch controller determines which frequency bands are existed in the intermediate frequency signal, then analyzes the signal via at least one threshold value to determine the frequency band's primary carrier. The switch controller obtains an effective carrier. Further, the switch controller compares the effective carrier with the pre-recorded carrier bands for selectively outputting the appropriate audio broadcasting format.
