Abstract: A curtain control assembly includes a shaft in which a torque rod and a control unit are received. The curtain is wrapped around the shaft. The control unit has a frame from which a tubular portion extends. The tubular portion has a polygonal protrusion. An end support is located in the frame and has a hook which is hooked to the control unit. A bead-chain disk is mounted to the tubular portion. A mount is mounted to a sleeve of the bead-chain disk. A connection member is fixed to the torque rod and a polygonal recess is defined in the connection member. The protrusion is engaged with the recess. A screw extends through the connection member, the tubular portion and is fixed to the end support. The feed-back of torque from the torque rod is shared by the polygonal recess and protrusion to protect the hook from being broken.

Abstract: A glider unit for pleated curtain comprises a sliding carriage and a fastener. The sliding carriage has a female snap-fit portion provided at its bottom for engaging with the fastener. The fastener has a combining section for fixing with a curtain fabric. The outer edge of the female snap-fit portion is formed as an arc segment, whereby the curtain fabric can be compliant with the arc segment so as to form regularly pleated pattern and smooth fabric surface during the closing of the curtain. Two pulleys pivotally coupled by a shaft are respectively mounted at both sides of each sliding carriage for moving on a curtain track. A plurality of balls are disposed between each pulley and the shaft so as to facilitate the rolling of each pulley without much application of force, so that opening and closing of the curtain can be accomplished in less laborious effort required.

Abstract: An operating system (OS) processing method for a host computer includes the following steps: when the host computer is booting, a boot loader is read from a boot reading device according to a boot priority order of the host computer. A signature detecting program included in the boot loader is executed to detect data stored in a specified address of a master boot record (MBR) of the host computer. When it is determined that the present version signature of the host computer does not match the preset version signature according to the data stored in the specified address, an OS image is read from the boot reading device, an OS is installed on the host computer according to the OS image. The data stored in the specified address of the MBR is amended according to an image version signature of the installed OS.

Abstract: A slat winding and unwinding control device of window blind includes flexible snap fit portions that are provided on the base to engage directly into the upper beam so that the mounting of the base into the interior of the upper beam is easy. A cord spool is designed to be capable of continuing its rotation in a fitting member so that there is no limitation on the winding direction of the pull cord. Moreover, the fixing of either a connecting strap or a connecting string for connecting each slat of the window blind on a housing member is very easy. Therefore, easiness and handiness in operation can be improved in the overall implementation of the system.

Abstract: A graphic processing unit (GPU) virtual apparatus, a GPU host apparatus and GPU program processing methods thereof are provided. The GPU virtual apparatus determines a priority of a GPU program, determines a processing order of the GPU program according to the priority, processes the GPU program according to the processing order, and transmits the processed GPU program to the GPU host apparatus. The GPU host apparatus receives the processed GPU program from the GPU virtual apparatus, determines a priority of the processed GPU program, determines a processing order of the processed GPU program according to the priority, further processes the processed GPU program according to the processing order, and transmits an operation result of the processed GPU program to the GPU virtual apparatus.

Abstract: A fireproof rack for protecting an object is provided. The fireproof rack includes a major frame, a moveable frame, a fireproof chamber and a fireproof liquid. A network port layout corresponding to a configuration of the plurality of network ports on the network device is received. An unplugging order of the plurality of network ports is provided according to the network port layout. Numbers of the plurality of network interface cards are recorded according to an occurrence order of unplugging events occurring in the plurality of network interface cards when unplugging the plurality of network ports according to the unplugging order into an unplugging event record. The numbers of the plurality of network interface cards are combined into the network port layout according to the unplugging event record to generate a network port mapping layout Then the network port mapping layout is displayed.

Abstract: A method and system for providing tokenless secure login by visual cryptography. The method includes generating a password sequence and converting the password sequence to a password image. The method also includes encrypting the password image into a first image cipher and a second image cipher. The method further includes transmitting the first image cipher to a first electronic device of a user. Further, the method includes displaying the second image cipher on a second electronic device of the user. Moreover, the method includes enabling decryption of the password image by matching the first image cipher and the second image cipher using an image capture device on the first electronic device. The system includes a plurality of electronic devices, communication interface, memory, and processor.

Abstract: A control unit for curtains includes a frame connected with a shaft and a torsion spring is mounted to the shaft. Two extension sections extend from two ends of the torsion spring at an angle. At least one of the two extension sections of the torsion spring has a contact section extending therefrom at an angle. The contact section contacts the end of the protrusion of the socket in a form of face-to-face. By the contact section of the torsion spring, the extension section and the contact section of the torsion spring does not shift to the underside of the protrusion.

Abstract: A method and a kit for detecting folate are disclosed. The method includes the following steps: (a) mixing a sample and an extraction buffer to form a mixture, heating and then cooling the mixture, and separating a supernatant from the mixture by centrifugation; (b) adding a recombinant ?-glutamyl hydrolase (GGH) and a folate conversion enzyme to the supernatant to drive catalysis; (c) stopping the catalysis; and (d) analyzing the supernatant by high performance liquid chromatography.

The curtain spindle sleeve is assembled with the combination of the curtain spindle rod and the damper, and then a curtain fabric is assembled on the outside of the curtain spindle sleeve. In this manner, the opening range of the curtain fabric roll is controlled by the stoke setting device, and the roll-up speed of each part of the curtain fabric is slowed down by the damper so as to reduce effectively the noise produced by the quick actuation of each part and the defective rate.
