    Abstract: A method for measuring and feeding back channel state information and a device is provided. The method includes: sending, by a first network side device, channel state information (CSI) measurement configuration information to user equipment, where the CSI measurement configuration information includes coordination indication information indicating that the first network side device and at least one second network side device are in a coordination relationship, receiving, by the user equipment, the CSI measurement configuration information from the first network side device, performing measurement based on the CSI measurement configuration information, and feeding back at least one group of CSI to the first network side device based on the measurement configuration information. Accuracy of fed back content and further facilitating scheduling of a base station is improved.

The first transistor is formed by a plurality of second transistors. A gate and a drain of the flipped-gate transistor are coupled to a gate and a drain of each second transistor. The first current mirror unit is configured to provide a first current to the flipped-gate transistor and a mirroring current in response to a bias current. The second current mirror unit is configured to drain a second current from the first transistor in response to the mirroring current. The output node is coupled to a source of each second transistor and the second current mirror unit, and configured to output a reference voltage. Size of the flipped-gate transistor is less than that of the first transistor.

In some embodiments, the electromagnetic radiation used to anneal the features on the workpiece is not polarized. In some described embodiments, light-sensitive material removed from the workpiece is exhausted from the chamber in which the light-sensitive removal process is carried out before it can deposit on surfaces of the chamber.

    Abstract: A dynamic mobile network architecture is provided, with the objective of meeting greenhouse gas emission targets. The network adapts over time based on time varied traffic demand/load. This is achieved by providing two layers of base stations (BS). The top layer contains super BS that have larger coverage areas than the base stations of the second layer. Depending on traffic conditions, base stations of the second layer can be switched into a reduced power mode. Signalling procedures are provided for setting up connections between the BS of the second layer and the super BS, and for switching off and then activating previously switched off second layer BS. In some cases, the BS of the second layer has a lower power listening receiver to allow itself to be activated while the BS is otherwise powered off.

    Abstract: Described is a novel framework, we call intent-based computing jobs assignment framework, for efficiently accommodating a clients' computing job requests in a mobile edge computing infrastructure. We define the intent-based computing job assignment problem, which jointly optimizes the virtual topology design and virtual topology mapping with the objective of minimizing the total bandwidth consumption. We use the Integer Linear Programming (ILP) technique to formulate this problem, and to facilitate the optimal solution. In addition, we employ a novel and efficient heuristic algorithm, called modified Steiner tree-based (MST-based) heuristic, which coordinately determines the virtual topology design and the virtual topology mapping. Comprehensive simulations to evaluate the performance of our solutions show that the MST-based heuristic can achieve an efficient performance that is close to the optimal performance obtained by the ILP solution.

    Abstract: A fast optical fiber identification system and method employing an acoustic pen that is connected to a portable device (such as a laptop, a smartphone, an iPad). The pen generates acoustic signals under the control of the portable device. The portable device interacts with a DFOS (Distributed Fiber Optic Sensor, e.g., a DAS or DVS) interrogator to notify the interrogator about the generated signals and receives a detection result from the interrogator. The result is either illustrated using a graph on the portable device, or as a tone of different volume, to indicate the strength of the pen's signal detected by the interrogator. As the pen touches/excites vibrationally/acoustically each of the fibers, the portable device notifies the user about the detected signal's strength or presence/no-presence, which allows a technician to quickly identify the fiber of interest.
