    Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for detecting user interactions to edit a digital image from a client device and modify the digital image for the client device by using a web-based intermediary that modifies a latent vector of the digital image and an image modification neural network to generate a modified digital image from the modified latent vector. In response to user interaction to modify a digital image, for instance, the disclosed systems modify a latent vector extracted from the digital image to reflect the requested modification. The disclosed systems further use a latent vector stream renderer (as an intermediary device) to generate an image delta that indicates a difference between the digital image and the modified digital image. The disclosed systems then provide the image delta as part of a digital stream to a client device to quickly render the modified digital image.

    Abstract: A single-mode crystal fiber is provided. The fiber has a core. The core is made of a crystalline material with a melting point above 1900 degrees Celsius (° C.). The core has a coat. The coat is made of a crystalline material the same as that of the core. Through immersion plating under a low vacuum pressure and a high temperature, the material of the coat is sintered to form an outer layer covering the core. Thus, the thickness of the coat is controlled. A single crystal totally the same as that of the core is grown in a solid state with no ceramics contained. Consequently, the crystal contains no ceramics; and, through being sintered in a vacuum environment, the crystal has pores the smallest in size and the fewest in number, as compared to those sintered under a normal pressure.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-executable instructions for collecting traffic data from devices. A data collection node determines a scanning algorithm. Multiple channels of a spectrum are scanning simultaneously. An advertising packet is detected on a channel. A MAC address is extracted from the advertising packet and at least one byte is removed from the MAC address. An identifier is created based on the reduced MAC address. A message including the identifier, RSSI of the advertising packet and timestamp is sent to a remote server. The remote server uses the received data from multiple data collection units to create traffic data associated with devices.

The chimeric HA protein has improved thermal stability and can be used in a vaccine composition for preventing influenza virus infection. Also provided is a method of inducing an immune response against an influenza virus in a subject in need thereof that includes administering the chimeric HA protein to the subject, thereby conferring protection against the influenza virus infection on the subject.

    Abstract: Orthodontic intervention is performed after a patient, undergoing an orthodontic treatment plan utilizing orthodontic aligners, sends an image of their teeth remotely to an image processing module. The image is analyzed to determine current teeth position and crate an electronic model of the current teeth position. From the teeth position model, it is determined that the current teeth position is not compatible with the orthodontic treatment plan, which typically requires restarting the treatment plan and having the patient rescanned. Here, an electronic model of a rescue appliance is generated, where the rescue aligner is configured to move the teeth to a position back into compatibility with the orthodontic aligners. The rescue aligner is manufactured and sent to the patient without requiring the patient to visit any point of care.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating light emitting diode (LED) dice includes the steps of: providing a substrate, and forming a plurality of die sized semiconductor structures on the substrate. The method also includes the steps of providing a receiving plate having an elastomeric polymer layer, placing the substrate and the receiving plate in physical contact with an adhesive force applied by the elastomeric polymer layer, and performing a laser lift-off (LLO) process by directing a uniform laser beam through the substrate to the semiconductor layer at an interface with the substrate to lift off the semiconductor structures onto the elastomeric polymer layer. During the laser lift-off (LLO) process the elastomeric polymer layer functions as a shock absorber to reduce momentum transfer, and as an adhesive surface to hold the semiconductor structures in place on the receiving plate.
