    Abstract: A measurement structure is adapted for a curtain cutting machine, and the curtain cutting machine contains: a track, a slidable seat, a scale set, a cutting device, and a covering cover. The track includes a front segment and a rear segment, the slidable seat is disposed on and slides along the track and includes a clamping apparatus. The scale set is secured on the track so as to indicate a position of the slidable seat, the cutting device is located adjacent to the front segment of the track and includes an opening, and the covering door is mounted between the cutting device and the track and moves between a first position and a second position. When the covering door slides to the first position, it stops the opening of the cutting device, and when the covering door slides to the second position, it opens the opening of the cutting device.

    Abstract: Embodiments relate to a device ecosystem in which devices collect and forward failure data to a control system that collects and analyzes the failure data. The devices record, categorize, transform, and report failure data to the control system. Failures on a device can be counted and also correlated over time with tracked changes in state of the device (e.g., in use, active, powered on). Different types of Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) statistics are efficiently computed in an ongoing manner. A pool of statistical failure data pushed by devices can be used by the control system to select devices from which to pull detailed failure data.

Dynamic selection of transform size may be performed on intra-predicted macroblocks, inter-predicted macroblocks, and/or direct mode inter-predicted macroblocks. The encoding operation may generate a transform size syntax element to indicate the transform size that may be used in reconstructing the encoded macroblock. The transform size syntax element may be transmitted to a decoder as part of the encoded video information bit stream.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an image calibrating method of a panoramic fish-eye camera comprising the following steps of: establishing a panoramic optical target space; using the panoramic fish-eye camera for shooting the panoramic optical target space's panoramic image; establishing a depth calibration parameter by using a depth calibration module; establishing an internal calibration parameter of the panoramic fish-eye camera; establishing an image stitching parameter and a space depth transformation parameter of the panoramic image and the panoramic optical target space; and using the internal calibration parameter, the image stitching parameter, the space depth transformation parameter and the depth calibration parameter to calibrate the panoramic image for generating a 3D panoramic image. Compared to the prior art, the present invention can optimize the calibration parameters by accumulating all the camera parameters and executing a machine learning for increasing the computing efficiency.

    Abstract: High modulus turbine shafts and high modulus cylindrical articles are described as are the process parameters for producing these shafts and cylindrical articles. The shafts/articles have a high Young's modulus as a result of having high modulus <111> crystal texture along the longitudinal axis of the shaft/article. The shafts are produced from directionally solidified seeded <111> single crystal cylinders that are axisymmetrically hot worked before a limited recrystallization process is carried out at a temperature below the recrystallization temperature of the alloy. The disclosed process produces an intense singular <111> texture and results in shaft or cylindrical article with a Young's modulus that is at least 40% greater than that of conventional nickel or iron alloys or conventional steels.
