Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a first package component and a second package component. The first package component has a first die formed on a first substrate. A second package component has a second die formed on a second substrate. A thermal isolation material is attached on the first die, wherein the thermal isolation material thermally insulates the second die from the first die, and the thermal isolation material has a thermal conductivity of from about 0.024 W/mK to about 0.2 W/mK. A first set of conductive elements couples the first package component to the second package component.

Abstract: A system and method for packaging semiconductor dies is provided. An embodiment comprises a first package with a first contact and a second contact. A post-contact material is formed on the first contact in order to adjust the height of a joint between the contact pad a conductive bump. In another embodiment a conductive pillar is utilized to control the height of the joint between the contact pad and external connections.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of determining concurrency factors for an application running on a parallel processor. Also disclosed is a system for implementing the method. In an embodiment, the method includes running at least a portion of the kernel as sequences of mini-kernels, each mini-kernel including a number of concurrently executing workgroups. The number of concurrently executing workgroups is defined as a concurrency factor of the mini-kernel. A performance measure is determined for each sequence of mini-kernels. From the sequences, a particular sequence is chosen that achieves a desired performance of the kernel, based on the performance measures. The kernel is executed with the particular sequence.

Abstract: A navigation keypad is disposed in an electronic device including a case and a keypad printed circuit board disposed in the case. The navigation keypad includes an elastic support element and a body. The elastic post includes an elastic post, and a first end of the elastic post has an inclined plane. The body is passing through the case and corresponding to the elastic support element. The body includes a direction keypad portion lean against the elastic post and providing a reload force. The direction keypad portions may be formed on the body for direction control. Therefore, the number of the components and the assembling hour of the navigation keypad can be reduced. In addition, the inclined plane allows the direction keypad portion to be closely in contact with the directional elastic post. Therefore, when one direction keypad portion is pressed, other direction keypad portion would not be affected.

The inside mounted heat-dissipating structure is disposed inside the detachable casing. Abstract: The invention provides a method for determining whether a human immunodeficiency virus is likely to be have enhanced ability to enter a cell expressing CD4 and CXCR4 relative to a reference HIV. In certain aspects, the methods comprise detecting one or more amino acids in an envelope protein of the HIV associated with enhanced ability to enter CD4- and CXCR4-expressing cells and determining that the HIV's ability to enter such cells is enhanced relative to a reference HIV, e.g., an HIV that does not comprise such amino acid(s).

Abstract: A humidity-resistant and heat-resistant solar cell backsheet, comprising a weather-resistant layer, a connection layer, a structure-reinforcing layer and a reflection layer which are sequentially compounded. It is characterized in that the weather-resistant layer is a biaxially oriented PA weather-resistant film or is made of a polyamide, heat stabilizer, ultraviolet-resistant stabilizers and inorganic materials; and the structure reinforcing layer is made of polypropylene, modified polypropylene or an alloy, wherein the alloy is an alloy of polypropylene and engineering plastics or an alloy of modified polypropylene and engineering plastics. According to the solar cell backsheet, a polyamide (PA) replaces the traditional fluorine film material to serve as the weather-resistant layer, so that the weather-resistant performance is guaranteed and the cost is greatly reduced.

Abstract: A method of forming a package on package (PoP) structure includes forming a first die package, and bonding an external connector of a second die package to a solder paste layer of the first die package. The forming the first die package includes forming a contact pad over a substrate, attaching a metal ball with a convex surface to the contact pad, and applying a solder paste layer over a distal end of the metal ball and leaving at least a portion of the metal ball without solder paste. The forming the first die package also includes attaching a semiconductor die to the substrate, and forming a molding compound between the semiconductor die and the metal ball, where the solder paste layer has a first portion extending above an upper surface of the molding compound and a second portion extending below the upper surface of the molding compound.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for the efficient and accurate determination of HIV susceptibility to an integrase inhibitor and/or HIV replication capacity are provided. In certain aspects, the methods involve detecting in a biological sample a nucleic acid encoding an HIV integrase that comprises a primary mutation at codon 143, wherein the mutation at codon 143 does not encode arginine (R) or cysteine (C), and wherein the presence of the integrase-encoding nucleic acid in the biological sample indicates that the HIV has a decreased susceptibility to an integrase inhibitor or altered replication capacity relative to a reference HIV. In certain embodiments, the HIV also contains one or more secondary mutations in integrase. Also provided are methods for determining the selective advantage of a mutation or mutation profile based on the difficulty to create the mutation, and its effect on susceptibility to an integrase inhibitor or replication capacity.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for performing a self-aligned litho-etch (SALE) process. In some embodiments, the method is performed by forming a first cut layer over a hard mask having a first layer and an underlying second layer. A first plurality of openings are formed within the first layer and expose the second layer at a first plurality of positions. Two or more of the first plurality of openings are separated by the first cut layer. A spacer material is selectively formed onto sidewalls of the first plurality of openings within the first layer. A second plurality of openings are then formed within the first layer. The second plurality of openings are separated by a second cut layer including the spacer material and expose the second layer at a second plurality of positions. The second layer is etched according to the first layer and the spacer material.
