  • Patent number: 12281554
Abstract: A bottom hole assembly (BHA) includes components to perform a fracturing process for small hole wells created by underbalanced coiled tubing drilling. The BHA can be used to drill a wellbore and to stimulate an underbalanced coiled tubing drilled well. The BHA, coupled to a coiled tubing, can include a drilling bit, a hydrajetting tool up-string from the drilling bit, and a diverter between the drilling bit and the hydrajetting tool. After the BHA drills a wellbore, the BHA can be moved so that the hydrajetting tool is positioned to perform perforation without removing the BHA from the wellbore. The hydrajetting tool can perforate the formation using a regular perforation fluid first, then using a cooling agent to cool the wellbore area covering the coplanar perforation cluster, and last propagate hydraulic fracture by injecting the main pump schedule through the tubing and the annulus at the same time.

  • Patent number: 12241299
Abstract: A door swing control device comprises a bracket affixed to a door, a pivoting element pivotably affixed to the bracket, and a swinging catch mechanism mounted directly or indirectly to the structure. The pivoting element comprises a finger extending therefrom and is engaged with the bracket to limit a range of movement of the pivoting element relative to the bracket. The finger is engageable with the swinging catch mechanism to limit a range of movement of the pivoting element relative to the swinging catch mechanism and thereby selectively limiting a range of movement of the bracket relative to the swinging catch mechanism. When the finger of the pivoting element is engaged with the swinging catch mechanism, the door is held in the first open position. When the finger of the pivoting element is disengaged from the swinging catch mechanism, the door can swing between the first and second open positions.

  • Patent number: 11988496
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring the width of a strip or the widths of multiple strips being conveyed longitudinally through a sensing region of a gauge. The apparatus includes a correction bar that has very highly accurately machined edges and includes a laser point displacement sensor that traverses across the sensing region of the gauge of the invention. The method of the invention uses the correction bar by sensing its edge distance positions and using the data for the sensed edge distance positions and data for its highly accurately known edge distance positions to generate corrections for all distance positions continuously across the entire sensing region. Corrections are then made to sensed edge distance positions of a strip or strips being sensed by the gauge, regardless of the positions of the strip edges.

  • Publication number: 20240070316
Abstract: Techniques for a privacy-based user data sharing protocol disclose a system that receives a request to consent to share user data with a subscriber device. The system identifies, based on the request, a smart contract associated with the subscriber device. The smart contract comprises one or more conditions for collecting and managing the user data. The system generates a token based on the smart contract, in which the token indicates consent by a user to share the user data with the subscriber device according to the one or more conditions. The system records the generated token to a blockchain.
